Classic detective To be honest, this is the first David Fincher movie I’ve seen, and I went to the theater because of Daniel Craig. But during the session, I was fascinated by this painting.
1 Plot: I haven’t read Larsson’s books, so I judged the film without any comparison to the original books. At first, I didn’t understand anything while watching. The constant movement of the narrative from one character to another, violent scenes that seem not only superfluous, but absurd. And only by the end of the film it becomes clear what is what. Only by the end of the film do you understand why these scenes were included in the film. Only by the end of the film do you realize how masterful the editors did. This movie reminds me of what a real detective is. There are few such films nowadays.
2 The actors are excellent. Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Christopher Plummer and Stellan Skarsgard did their job brilliantly. Personally, I can’t complain about their game.
3 Music - I don't understand why the soundtrack for this film received so many nominations. In my opinion, it is too simple and, most importantly, not memorable. However, despite this, he fits perfectly into the movie. When you watch a movie, you don’t notice it, it doesn’t distract you, it complements what’s happening on the screen, and that’s enough for me. Although in my opinion it is not worthy of film awards, but it is more less pleasant while watching.
Deserved: 9 out of 10 Original
