Alan Alexander Milne, English poet, playwright, author of children's books, storyteller, was born in 1882 in London. Alan Milne gravitated to the exact sciences, so he entered college in the mathematics department. Already in his student years, he became the editor of Granta magazine, in which he began to publish his stories and poems.
