Igor Talkov was born in Shchekino, Tula region, on November 4, 1956. The child’s childhood was quite difficult, his parents spent 10 years in camps, in addition, his father lived in Siberia for 12 years. I met my mother and father in one of the camps.
The first songs Igor wrote in 1973 – “I’m a little sorry”, but his first professional work is the song “Share”, written in 1975. While studying at school, Igor kept all amateur activity, as he played guitar and piano, and in 1971 he graduated from the music school in the Bayana class. Later he also learned to play the violin.
After graduating from school in 1974, Igor Talkov decided to enter the Moscow Theatre School, but was unable to pass the entrance exam in literature. After serving in the army, he began to work as a soloist in the Sochi Association of Musical Groups, where he met his future wife.
The young writer worked in the groups Kaleidoscope, April, Eternal Movement, as well as in the musical theater. In 1986, he became a soloist of the group Electroclub.
Until 1987, Talkov’s performances were banned. In 1988, the singer was invited to participate in the program “Vision” and give a concert in Luzhniki, which ended in a big scandal.
He later organized the Rescue Circle group and the Court performance, during which he “judged” all the chiefs over the decades past. The audience was shocked by the performances of Igor Talkov.
Igor Talkov died on October 6, 1991 in St. Petersburg. He was killed during a concert by a gunshot.
In 1992, after the death of the author, the book Monologue was published, with a circulation of 200 thousand copies. He also wrote “Summer Rain,” “With Myself Alone,” and worked with his wife on the book “Discography.”
