Robert Louis Foss, better known as Bob Foss, was born on June 23, 1927 in Chicago, USA. He studied at American Theater Wing. Foss began his career as an actor and dancer, performed on stage and worked in films, and in 1954 as a choreographer he staged his first show on Broadway - The Pajama Game. Three years later, the show was filmed, and 10 years later he began to shoot his own musicals.
