Michael Redford is an English film director and screenwriter. Michael was born in 1946 in New Delhi, India to a British and Austrian Jewish family. Michael Redford received universal recognition after the adaptation of George Orwell’s novel 1984. As Winston Smith was cast actor John Hurt. The action of the picture unfolded at the time and in the place that was described in the original source - the book.

"White Evil" . This is a drama about the events in Kenya in the 1940s. Again, Michael acted as a screenwriter, writing a script based on the novel of the same name by James Fox.
