After graduating from college, the girl moves to New York, where she auditions and enters the studio at the theater “Circle on the Square”. Director Harold Becker chose Linda for the title role for his film “Finding a Vision” (1985) at the very first audition. The next work in the movie was for Linda the role of a secret agent in the thriller

Another memorable role of Linda Fiorentino was the role of an extravagant female sculptor in the comedy Martin Scorsese.

The opportunity to prove herself in the role of a dramatic actress appeared at Linda on the set of the film “Advanced Man”, where she managed to embody the image of a woman with a difficult fate, for the first time discovering on the screen vulnerability of feelings and insecurity.
