Ray Liotta was born on December 18, 1955 in Newark, New Jersey, USA. He graduated from the University of Miami in drama class. After university, Ray Liotta moved to New York. His acting career began with a role in the television series Another World (1978). He made his big screen debut in 1983 in The Lonely Woman, and his first notable role was in Jonathan Demme's Something Wild (1986). Ray Liotta is best known for his roles in such films as Field of Dreams (1989), Nice Guys (1990) by Martin Scorsese, Corrina, Corrina (1994), Turbulence (1997), Police (1997).
