Jan Machulski was born on July 3, 1928 in Lodz, Poland. In 1954 he graduated from the Lodz Higher School of Acting, and in 1971 - the director's department of the Higher Theatre School in Warsaw. Entering the acting path in 1954, Jan Machulski played more than 70 roles on various stages of the country, he worked in the theaters of Olsztyn and Opole, Lodz and Warsaw. However, the most popular actor brought the films of his son, Juliusz Makhulsky, - "Va-Bank" (1981) and "Va-Bank-2" (1985), in these criminal comedies he played the role of a burglar Quinta. He also successfully starred in other films by Yuri Makhulsky - "Kingsize" (1988), "Killer" (1997) and "Two Killers" (1999).
