Petr Petrovich Zaichenko was born on April 1, 1943 in the Volgograd region, on the farm Kaisatsky. Petr Petrovich Zaichenko was born on April 1, 1943 in the Volgograd region, on the farm Kaisatsky. He studied at the Volgograd cultural education school, then he entered the Saratov Theater School named after I. Slonov, in the workshop of N. Shlyapnikova and Y. Sagyants. After graduating from the school with a “red” diploma in 1971, Pyotr Zaichenko worked for three years in the Volgograd Theater named after M. Gorky. In 1974-1990, he worked as a reader in the Volgograd Regional Philharmonic, prepared a number of programs "Theater of One Actor" ("Holstomer" and "Sevastopol Stories" by L. Tolstoy, "Sashka" by V. Kondratiev, "Usvyatsky helmet-bearers" by E. Nosov, etc.). Since 1990, the actor worked in the Volgograd regional concert, and in 1994-1995 he played in the Volgograd Cossack theater. Meeting with Vasily Shukshin, Peter Zaichenko received from him an invitation to play in the film "I came to give you freedom ...", but the shooting did not take place - Shukshin died. Therefore, the debut of the actor in the cinema took place only in 1983 - he played the role of working Ivan Pukhov in the film Vadim Abdrashitov "Parade of planets", then he starred with the same director in the film "Plumbum, or Dangerous Game" (1986). Fame Petr Zaichenko brought the picture "Taxi-blues" (1990) by Pavel Lungin - the actor was noticed by the international film community, and the role in the film by Spanish director Enrique Gabriel "Krapachuk" brought him the prize "For the best male role" at the International Film Festival in Spain. Later, Petr Zaichenko continued to act a lot, although a number of films with his participation with difficulty - because of the difficult situation in the country - reached the viewer: "Thunderstorm over Russia" (1992), "Breakthrough" (1992), "The Testament of Stalin" (1993), "Concert for the Rat" (1995). Notable were his acting work in the adventure film of Mikhail Tumanishvili “Crusader” (1995), in the psychological film of Vladimir Hotinenko “Muslim” (1995), in the historical drama of Alexander Proshkin “Russian riot” (1998). The actor continues to actively star in various films and TV series, among which can be mentioned: "Bear" (2000), "Hunting for hares" (2002), "Wealth" (2004). "Dark Horse", "Capture", "Chiromant", "Dzisai", "Little Fate", "Wolves".
