Angus MacFadyen was born on 21 September 1963 in Scotland. The future actor spent his childhood in the Philippines. The family then moved to Singapore, where Angus graduated from high school. After graduating from secondary education, he left for London and entered the University and the School of Drama. Angus made his debut in 1991 in The Forgotten Language of Cranes. Then he took part in the filming of the film “The Life and Death of Knight Philip” and in the television show “Find a Shelter”.

The young actor was spotted. In 1995, he was invited by Mel Gibson to play in the film Braveheart. Angus brilliantly coped with the role, but, unfortunately, did not receive any awards, which offended the actor. However, his participation in this picture made him very popular. Suggestions poured in. He played roles in the films Nevada, Still Breathing, Warriors of Virtue. But the work in these films did not reach the height that was achieved in “Braveheart”.
In 2006, the film “Saw-3” appeared on the screens. It was a new phase in the career of an actor. The film collected huge revenues, and the actor received positive reviews from critics. The role of Blackbeard became the most memorable and beloved among McFadyen fans. The actor is also known for such films as “Valiant Warriors”, “Rat Pack”,
