American actor and director Bryon James was born on February 20, 1945 in Redlands, California. He lived in this city for a short time, soon the whole family moved to Beaumont. That's where he spent his childhood. His parents owned a movie theater in his hometown. Bryon James spent a lot of time watching different movies and trying on roles, so his desire to become an actor was quite obvious. In 1962, he graduated from high school and immediately entered the University of San Diego. There he studied theatre. When he completed his studies at this institution, he enlisted with his friend in the army and went to Vietnam. Upon his return, Bryon James began working for the famous acting teacher for free. Instead, he asked only for training and at least secondary roles in performances. He also appeared in various clubs as a comedian.
In 1973, he finally decided to become a movie actor, and therefore moved to Los Angeles and began to undergo all sorts of castings. As a result, he received roles in small episodes or extras. A little later he began to be invited to star in series. His characters are mostly bad guys. Nothing more significant happened in his career until he was invited to the filming of Southern Peace in 1981. Then went a whole series of different films, but nothing special in it critics and the audience did not notice. Only the role in the film “Blade Runner” showed the huge potential of the actor.
