Rob Zombie is the stage name of the famous American musician Robert Cummings, born on January 12, 1966 in Haverhill. Robert and his younger brother were fond of horror films and action films since childhood. With a talent for drawing, Robert graduated from the College of Art. He was going to become a publisher in New York, but his ambitions failed. Robert had to take on any job: he worked as a courier, designed pornographic magazines. In one of these publications, Robert met the artist Shona Reynolds.

In one of these publications, Robert met the artist Shona Reynolds. Converging on the love of horror and American underground culture, they decided to create a musical group called White Zombie, which became the continuation of the tradition.

"White zombie" (1932) directed by Bela Lugosi. So began the career of Rob Zombie, who changed his real name to an outrageous pseudonym.
The White Zombie group quickly gained wild popularity in New York. Rob Zombie was the author of all the texts of the project, his designer and just a great showman. In the mid-80s, the team released three mini-discs, and in 1987 the debut album Soul-Crusher appeared.
In 1998, Zombie began his solo career with his 1999 debut album Hellbilly Deluxe (13 Tales of Cadaverous Cavorting Inside the Spookshow International). The themes of the singer’s songs were monsters, corpses, zombies, sinners, virgins sacrificed and retribution. Rob Zombie managed to skillfully combine playfulness and humor with oppressive horror, which attracted the attention of the audience to his work.
In 2000, Rob Zombie wrote the soundtrack “Scum of the Earth” for the film “Mission Impossible 2”.
