On March 27, 1971, the future actor Nathan Fillion was born in the Canadian city of Edmonton. His parents, Bob and Cookie Fillion, are former English teachers.
Nathan studied at the Catholic Gymnasium, then at Albert College. Initially, he intended to follow in his parents’ footsteps, so he entered the University of Alberta. But a semester before graduation, he won the competition for the role in the TV series One Life to Live.
