In 1994, Konchalovsky Jr. received a master's degree in art history.

Egor Andreevich began his directorial career working as an assistant in the studio of his famous father. Soon after, he became interested in advertising, shooting over two hundred commercials for such large companies as Sony and Mars. The first full-length film Egor Konchalovsky released in 2000. It was the detective thriller The Recluse. Two years later, another equally exciting picture came out – the action-packed action movie Antikiller, in which the main role was played by Gosha Kutsenko, a popular actor of his time. The success of this film prompted the director in 2003 to shoot the second part of “Antikiller”.
For a fruitful directorial career, which is constantly intertwined with personal life and family pedigree, Egor Konchalovsky made many interesting films worthy of repeated viewing.
