Alexey Kozlov was born on September 10, 1959. He had the opportunity to learn from the famous theater director Rosa Orphan. Alexey began his career as a director with documentary films, shooting in the 90s a popular series of films called Criminal Russia.

Alexey Kozlov worked for several years at Phoenix Film. He is a member of the Russian Television Academy and the founder of the AlexFilm studio in St. Petersburg.
