Maribeth Solomon is a Canadian composer, author of music for films and songs. She was born on June 23, 1952 in Toronto into a musical family – her father was a violinist at the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and her older brother Lenny Solomon became a jazz and pop musician, and studied piano and flute at the Royal Conservatory. In tandem with Mickey, Marybeth was nominated for a number of awards - five times for the Jeanie Award, including for the films "Milk Honey" and the cartoon "Caring Bear Cubs 3", the Emmy Award for the picture.
