The famous Ukrainian actor and director Georgy Deliev was born on January 1, 1960 in the Ukrainian city of Kherson in a family of teachers. After graduating from high school, he entered the architectural faculty of the Odessa Civil Engineering Institute, which he successfully graduated in 1982. Even in his student years, Deliev was actively engaged in clowning and pantomime in a local studio.
After graduating from the Institute on distribution got to Pyatigorsk, and later worked in Chisinau. In these cities, Georgy Deliev continued to work on pantomimes and even opened pantomime theater studios in them.
In 1984, Deliev enters the Leningrad Theatre “Lycedei”, which was directed by Vyacheslav Polunin. In the same year, Deliev was accepted into the ensemble of clowning and pantomime “Masks” at the Odessa Regional Philharmonic, where he works now as an artistic director, actor, author and director.
In 1989, Deliev graduated from GITIS, the director's faculty. In 1991, he made his first feature film.
