Born July 1, 1955. Transfiguration of the Peshkovsky district of the Kustanai region of the Kazakh SSR in the family of Ingush special settlers.
He began his way into art in 1978 after graduating from the class of People's Artist of the USSR Professor V.V. Merkuriev at the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography.
In the 80s in the Chechen-Ingush State Drama Theater named after H. Nuradilov he created brilliant images in the performances of domestic and foreign playwrights. The role of Lyapkin-Tyapkin in Gogol’s “Inspector” was highly appreciated by critics and spectators in 1984 in Moscow and at the All-Union Festival of Chekhov Drama in Taganrog in 1985, making him a diplomat and laureate of the Lenin Komsomol.
Even as a student of the institute, Ruslan Naurbiev began acting in films. His debut on the screen was the role of Private Naurbiev in the film “Mistakes of Youth”, filmed at the film studio “Lenfilm”.
Especially a lot and fruitful artist worked in recent years – the audience remembered him in the role of Marat in the film I. Talpa “Last autumn”, “Behind the scenes” in the role of Otar, Tagirov in the film “Operational pseudonym” of the same director, in the film A. Konchalovsky “House of fools” in the role of Vahid, in the film directed by Tumanishvili “March of Turkey” in the role of Genghis Khan.
A connoisseur of native speech and musical folklore Ruslan Naurbiyev was an excellent performer of national songs. His soulful voice, unwavering artistry on stage and boundless charm brought him love and recognition of the audience at home and far beyond.
For more than ten years, Ruslan Naurbiyev was the head of the Ingush Cultural Center at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Armenia in Moscow, the organizer and participant of the cultural life of the numerous Ingush and Chechen diasporas.
He died on March 29, 2005.
