Since 1976 she worked in the Moscow Theatre on Taganka. She played Tanya (“Exchange” by Yuri Trifonov), Mother (“Falled and Living” by D. Samoilov).
From 1981 to 2000 she was in the troupe of the Central Academic Theatre of the Russian Army. Among her roles: Zinaida (“The One Who Gets Slapped” by L. Andreev), Carol (“Orpheus Descends to Hell” by T. Williams), Lady Macduff (“Macbeth” by W. Shakespeare), Alice (“Man for Any Pore” by R. Bolt), Proudence (“Lady with Camellias” by A. Dumas). She played Cassandra in the play by P. Stein “Orestey” and Vinnie in the play “Happy Days” by S. Beckett in the theater “Modern”.
Plays in solo performances, created in collaboration with the poet Marina Kudimova, “Perfect Joy” and “We will go to A and B”.
At the Theatre, Tabakova played the role of Frau Tsumpe in Mindaugas Karbauskis’s Sinchron (2003).
In 2003, she was accepted into the troupe of the Art Theatre, where she participated in performances: “A Little Tenderness”, “Crime and Punishment”, “Violin and a Little Nervous”, “Tartuff”.
In the Theatre Tabakova plays the role of Glumova in the play by Oleg Tabakov “Every sage is quite simple”.
