In 1948, he began working in this theater, where he also played his starring role in the production of Romeo and Juliet, where he was entrusted with the role of Romeo himself. After that, Vladimir had many fans, he became famous. His fame quickly reached the theater of the Soviet army in Moscow, where he was called to begin military service in 1951. Until the end of his days, Vladimir did not part with this theater.
The first role in the movie went to the actor in 1949 in the film “Academician Ivan Pavlov” directed by Grigory Roshal. Vladimir Soshalsky played the role of a student in the film.

In 2007, Soshalsky died in a hospice from prostate cancer.
