Irina Reznikova is a Russian actress. Born March 5, 1953 in the Belarusian city of Minsk, where she spent her childhood. After school, the future actress moved to Moscow and entered the Moscow Art Theater School, which she successfully graduated in 1976.

She played on the stage of the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theatre in St. Petersburg and in the Mayakovsky Theatre in Moscow.
The first work in the movie for the actress was the role of Svetlana Meshkova in the film directed by Alexander Surin “Fear of heights”. The picture was released on screens in 1975. The film told about the fate of a young scientist who tragically died on the day of defending his dissertation. Partners of the aspiring actress on the set were such outstanding actors as Anatoly Papanov, Andrei Myagkov and Irina Miroshnichenko.
After such a brilliant role, the girl received offers of roles in such famous Soviet films as
Holiday in September "To whom did the singing canar fly" and "Curfew".
Another interesting film project in which the actress took part was the film by Sergei Mikaelyan.

In 2004, the actress had to return to Russia for a short time for the role of Calida Frost in the television series New Adventures of Niro Wolfe and Archie Goodwin. The project was a continuation of the famous series of Sergey Zhigunov “Niro Wolf and Archie Goodwin”.
Now Irina Reznikova lives in the Finnish city of Lohya and works as a director at the Russian Theatre in Helsinki.
