Diablo Cody (real name Diablo Cody) Brook Busey-Hunt (born June 14, 1978, Chicago, Illinois) is an American screenwriter. Diablo Cody gained fame as a stripper in Minneapolis, which she candidly described on her blog Pussy Ranch blog and her memoir Candy Girl – A Year in the Life of an Unlikely Stripper, published in 2006. In 2008, Cody won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for Juno.
