Critics called her the "fatal beauty" and "Carmen of the 20th century", and she was a deeply religious person. Anna Samokhin lived greedily and brightly; she managed everything - roles in cinema and theater, entertainment, business; men went crazy for her, but she never managed to build a happy family nest. And she lived only 47 years, having died in 2010.
Actress Anna Vladlenovna Samokhin (nee Podgornaya) was born on January 14, 1963 in the city of Guryevsk, Kemerovo region. At first, life was not affectionate to her. Anna's father was a drinking man and by the age of thirty became a complete alcoholic, the family (except for Ani, Podgornyi had another daughter) lived in a dormitory, where drunken fights and scandals were not uncommon. According to Anna herself, sometimes she and her sister had to sleep on a mattress in the corner of the common kitchen, "like puppies."
But this “scenario” of life did not suit Anna. At the age of seven, she began to study music, at fourteen she entered the Cherepovets People’s Theater, and a year later she became a student of the Yaroslavl Theater School. It was here that she met her first husband Alexander Samokhin, with whom she lived for fifteen years and from whom in 1983 she gave birth to a daughter Alexandra, who also later became an actress. Anna's second husband is businessman Dmitry Pavlovich Konorov, with whom she organized the film studio "Diapazon", where she was artistic director. Dmitry helped Anna open a restaurant business, but after seven years of living together, their marriage broke up. Her third (civil) husband was Yevgeny Fedorov, a retired customs officer, but this marriage was unsuccessful. The last years of her life, Anna lived, in her words, “in a state of freedom and peace.”
