Charles Grodin (real name - Charles Grodinsky) was born on April 21, 1935 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. His acting debut took place in 1962 on Broadway, and as a theater director he made his debut in 1965. He made his first film appearance in 1964 (Sex and the College Girl). He is known for the films Heaven Can Wait (1978) by Warren Beatty, Midnight Run (1988) with Robert De Niro, Rosemary's Baby (1968), King Kong (1976), Beethoven I - II (1992 - 93).
