James Coburn was born on August 31, 1928 in Laurel, Nevada. He graduated from Los Angeles City College with a degree in acting, studied at the University of California. Although James Coburn starred in the role of one of the heroes of The Magnificent Seven, he became famous thanks to the film Our Man Flint (1966) and its sequel, Like Flint, which followed a year later. In 1967, the actor played in the popular comedy Presidential Psychoanalyst. James Coburn also worked as a producer on this film.
