The boy made excellent solo numbers under the guidance of his teacher. He saw the talent of the student and advised to apply to the Plymouth Theater, located in Massachusetts. There Jeffrey participated in several productions. Later, the young actor appeared on stage in New York. Naturally, the path of the young man was predetermined. But he played mainly on the stage.
His first film role was in an episode of Culpepper Cattle Co. Lewis got it in 1972. He played Harry in Dillinger (1973). After this film, Jeffrey began to work with Clint Eastwood, starring in his film “Strayers of the High Plains” (1973).
They've been cooperating for quite some time. In 1974, Lewis participated in the film “Thunderbolt and Jumper”, where he played the good-natured thief Eddie Goody.
