In 1932, Grant first gets to Hollywood and meets the bosses of the Paramount Pictures film company, and they, noticing his magnificent acting talent, came up with the stage name Carrie Grant for him. Popularity and fame came to Carrie quite by accident: world star Mae West strongly demanded that only Cary Grant play her lover in the films I Was Wrong.
