The future actress spent her youth in Mariupol (Ukraine), where she graduated from school. Daria studied poorly, hampered by a serious passion for fencing. At the age of fourteen, she intended to become a candidate for master of sports, but in competitions was disqualified for rough fighting. After this incident, Daria left the sport.
In theatrical productions, Daria Jurgens participated literally from the diapers. In the play “Virgin Raised”, she was taken to the stage at an unconscious age, wrapped in some rags, and when the girl was ten years old, she played her first serious role of Anyutka in the play “The Power of Darkness”.
But Daria did not think about acting, she wanted to become a veterinarian. However, after graduation, she still submitted documents to the Leningrad LGITMIK named after N. K. Cherkasov.
After completing her studies at a theater university, Daria Jurgens played on the stage of the St. Petersburg State Youth Theater on Fontanka. In 1991, she played Masha in the production of “The Death of Van Halen” and the princess in the play “The Workshop of Stupidities”, in 1993 – grandmother in “Moon Wolves”, in 1995 – Lucy in “Threepenny Opera”, in 1996 – Constance in the production “Night of Mistakes” and Katya Rat in the play “Street.
In 1997, Daria Jurgens, along with her work in the theater, starred in the series “Streets of Broken Lanterns”, where she got the role of Olga.
Later, Daria Jurgens, without leaving the theater scene, starred in many TV series and films. The huge popularity of the actress brought a television series
"Sea Devils" (2006 – 2011), where she appeared in the image of Margarita Koshkina, “Bagira”. Currently, Daria Jurgens is in demand and continues to star in films and TV series.
The actress is in a civil marriage with the director of stunts Sergey Velikanov. Daria has two children: son Egor, who was born in 1991, and daughter Alexander, who was born in 2003.
