Viktor Zolotarev (Alexander Lazarev, Jr.), the head of the plant’s security service, is about to initiate an attack on the collector’s car, which regularly comes to collect gold from the factory. In order not to initiate strangers in the case, the hero of the TV movie “Mistress of the taiga” leaves in the protection of only “his” people, dismissing part of the employees. Konstantin Voevodin (Alexander Bukharov), a former marine, who is already going to leave the taiga and move to the “big land” due to problems in his personal life, falls under the reduction.
However, on the way from the factory, he witnesses a robbery of collectors and intervenes, getting injured.
