Feet of Flames was created in 1998 by dancer Michael Flatley, made famous by the musical Riverdance. First created for Flatley's last show as the "Lord of the Dance", the show was a one-off performance in London's Hyde Park on July 25, 1998, playing to approximately 25,000 people. The show itself closely resembles its predecessor, Lord of the Dance. However Feet of Flames doubles the dancers, adds new numbers, and a new stage with multi-level tiers for the dancers. Amongst the new numbers is Flatley's solo — "Feet of Flames", which the show is based around. The show introduced some of the key elements that are now featured when Flatley performs. His silver-heeled shoes made by Freed's of London were used for the first time in this show. TV screens on both sides of the stage were also installed and now used in all the shows that feature Flatley close

Down to the Earth’s Core takes viewers from the sidewalk to the centre of the planet in one epic unbroken shot. Using spectacular computer generated imagery; the camera smashes through almost 9 000 kilometres of solid rock to explore the hidden world beneath our feet. Experience an earthquake inside the San Andreas Fault, blast out of a volcano, encounter bizarre cave-dwelling creatures and enter caves full of giant crystals – all inside planet Earth. As the camera lowers into Earth's bosom, the planet’s extraordinary story, is laid bare layer by layer, showing how prehistoric forests became modern-day fuel, witnessing the dinosaur’s cataclysmic death, and watching as stalactites form and gold grows before our eyes. Deeper, beyond the reach of any mine, any drill, we find wonders beyond imagination: towering molten metal tornadoes, forests of solid iron crystals, until we reach the strangest, least understood place on the planet – the core. close

The documentary Peter Leonard and Nigel Paterson "BBC: The Truth About Killer Dinosaurs" allows anyone to learn more about dinosaurs that lived in olden more
The documentary Peter Leonard and Nigel Paterson "BBC: The Truth About Killer Dinosaurs" allows anyone to learn more about dinosaurs that lived in olden times. The fact is that over the past decades, people’s knowledge about dinosaurs has changed quite a lot, and now scientists know almost everything about how big lizards looked, what they ate, what disposition they possessed and how they moved. And it turned out that one of the symbols of the Jurassic period and the king of the dinosaurs was Tyrannosaurus Rex, who was actually a simple scavenger, and another famous lizard Velociraptor – a shy creature that was covered with feathers.
New facts in the hands of scientists and archaeologists prove this, and therefore it is safe to say that the semi-documentary historical film shows an alternative view of familiar, but at the same time distant predators of the age of dinosaurs. close
