He was born on 26 July 1949 in Norfolk. The drummer of Queen. Taylor was the first of the band to record as an independent musician. In 1977 he released his solo single I Wanna Testify, and in 1981 he released his first solo album, Fun In Space, which reached number 21 in the annual British Top 100.
