As winter gives way to spring in the Russian wilderness, a crafty fox promptly expels a defenceless hare from his warm, comfortable residence, claiming the house for himself and leaving the poor owner to sleep outside under the stars. An assortment of compassionate animals – a wolf, a bear, a bull – take pity on the disheartened hare, and attempt to evict the cunning fox, but to no avail. Along comes a hilariously militant rooster, proud and tenacious, who marches into the hare's house and doesn't give up until the fox has been hounded back into the wilderness. close

A group of old friends have a tradition of going to a public bathing house on New Year's Eve. Occasionally too much vodka and beer makes two of them unconscious. The problem is that one of them (Sasha) has to go to Leningrad but another one (Zhenya) goes. Zhenya wakes up at Leningrad airport. Believing that he is still in Moscow he takes a taxi and goes home. The street name, building and even apartment number, the way an apartment complex looks the same and the key coincide completely - just typical Soviet-type 'economy' architecture. Imagine the surprise of Nadya when she enters her apartment and finds a man without trousers in her bed. What's more - Nadya's fiancé also finds him there... close

"Terem-Teremok" - cartoon on the script Vladimir Suteev . First, this wonderful house noticed flying past the Pig Fly. Less than an hour later, Normal Mouse knocked on her. Then came the Frog, the Frog, the Rabbit, and the Golden Scallop.
And their work was disputed, and a happy life flowed. Each was engaged in his own business - the Fly and the Mouse cooked food, the Frog in the bar brought order, the Bunny cut wood, and the Rooster guarded the house. But the bear appeared inadvertently clubfooted and began to ask for a post. Only a small number for him turned out to be, even the muzzle did not climb, the teremok fell apart. But what trouble is it when friends love to work and are not offended by such nonsense as a broken home! close

A Soviet cult cartoon, so untypical for a Western viewer, especially, a little one. A boy named Malysh ("A Little One") suffers from solitude being the youngest of the three children in a Swedish family. The acute sense of solitude makes him desperately want a dog, but before he gets one, he "invents" a friend - the very Karlson who lives upon the roof. So typical for the Russian culture spirit of mischief, which is, actually, never punished, and the notion that relative welfare not necessarily means happiness made the book by Astrid Lindgren and its TV adaptations tremendously popular in the Soviet Union and nowadays Russia and vice versa - somewhat alienated to the Western reader and viewer (see User's comments below). However, both the book and the cartoon are truly universal - entertaining and funny for the children and thought-provoking and somewhat sad for grownups. close

The cartoon “Red, Red, Horseback” is a famous drawn short film of 1971, directed and artist by Leonid Nosyrev. Animated almanac "Merry Carousel" No. 3 combines this independent story with 2 others. On this and similar fun, kind and at the same time very instructive cartoons, more than one generation of children grew up. Without even remembering the plot of a short film, we are all immediately able to sing a funny song about a red boy.
The plot of the animated film "Red, red, hemp"
Animated film “Red, red, knob” many of us are familiar with its simple and at the same time funny plot: the story tells about a red-haired boy, over whom everyone laughed, teasing “Red, red, knob, killed his grandfather with a shovel”. The offended boy comes to the absolutely alive and healthy grandfather, hearing in response: “I also have hemp!” Even the joyful sun above his head claims that he was born red and golden – so bright that it can gild everyone around! The astonished boy can only guess: “...if every konopat, where to pick a shovel for everyone?” Little Antoshka finally realizes that nothing is worse than the rest – even despite the fiery color of his hair.
What is taught by "Red, red, knobby"
Soviet cartoons are absolutely not overestimated, claiming that they teach an optimistic view of life, acceptance of their complex character, and the shortcomings of others, kindness, compassion, honesty and courage. Just the same cartoon is "Red, red, knob", forcing in an extremely unobtrusive form once and for all to understand that you are the way you see yourself and that the main thing is kindness and openness to the world.
The creators of the red Antoshka
The film crew of the animated film, in addition to the director, includes: Eduard Uspensky (screenwriter), Evgeny Botyarov (composer), actors (Alexandra Babaeva, Gennady Dudnik, Clara Rumyanova, Tamara Dmitrieva, Yulia Yulskaya, Margarita Korabelnikova, etc.).
The well-known 4-minute short film “Red, Red, Konopathy” fell in love with viewers of all ages thanks to the funny main character: red Antoshka, being a real visiting card of Leonid Nosyrev, soon becomes the hero of individual cartoons “Fantazers from the village of Ugory”, “Two merry geese”, “Antoshka”. close

In 1968, Vladimir Degtyarev conceived to make a small informative cartoon for children based on the children's book by the Norwegian writer, poet and more
In 1968, Vladimir Degtyarev conceived to make a small informative cartoon for children based on the children's book by the Norwegian writer, poet and composer Alpha Pruysen "About a goat who could count to ten." So came the light of an informative puppet cartoon for the youngest viewers, which tells about how good it is to be educated and, in particular, to be able to count.
The characters were voiced by such famous artists as Georgy Vitsin, Anatoly Papanov and others. And Kozlenka speaks with the voice of Klara Rumyanova, an honored artist of the RSFSR, known primarily for voicing characters of more than 300 cartoons (most of which are Soviet).
Woe to skill
The main character of the cartoon Degtyarev is a smart Goat, who recently learned to count. Once, walking through the forest, Goat saw his reflection in a puddle and counted himself: “I am one!” Nearby he was quietly chewing calf grass. Interested in what was happening, he asked Kozlenka what he was doing. The goat replied that he considered himself, and then offered to count him. At first he agreed, but then he got scared because he didn’t know what the bill was. The goat counted the interlocutor, and he roared with fright so that his mother Cow came running.
Not figuring out what the matter is, with a cry, "I'll show you how to make fun of the elders." The cow went to the calf, who counted her. The poor man had to flee. So they chased Goatlunk until they met the Bull. When the Goat counted him, the Bull became furious, and the clever young man had to run away from the three.
Fleeing from the pursuers, Goat along the way counted and other animals that came across him in the way. And each of them was terribly angry that he was counted, believing that the Goat encroached on the freedom of honest animals with his account. The bull said that no one gave the baby the right to count him, the cow and other animals. And all because the ignorant animals were afraid of everything unknown. Since they didn’t go to school, they didn’t know much. Therefore, even a banal account caused fear, indignation and other negative emotions in them.
Salvation is in knowledge
After the company of pursuers was joined by the Horse and the Pig, Kozlenok got to the pier and ran aboard the ferry, on which there were crew members - Cat, Dog, Baran and Captain Goose. The pursuers rushed for the fugitive, also running on board, after which the ladder fell into the water and the ferry departed from the shore.
The ship began to sink and Goose said the ferry could hold ten passengers. Since only Goat could count from those present, he counted all of them, including the crew members. When it turned out that there were exactly ten people on board, the sailboat stopped sinking, and the rescued animals began to praise the baby.
In the end, Goat got a job on the pier controller, counting all who are going to climb the ship. And Calf, who learned how it turns out to be useful (and not at all painful) to be able to count, went to school. close
