The difficult times of devastation and poverty experienced by Japan after the end of the American occupation in 1955 forced the government to take harsh measures. To save tens of thousands of teenagers engaged in banditry and vagrancy, colonies were established in the country, where young criminals intended to discourage the desire to break the laws in severe conditions of isolation from society.
It is in such a colony that the heroes of the anime “Rainbow: Seven from the sixth chamber”, teenagers 16-17 years old, bearing the nicknames Joe, Mario, Golyak, Soldier, Turtle and Cabbage, turn out to be. Here, amidst the misery and humiliation of the prison, they decide to establish the same thieving order as they had in the wild.
