Boris Natanovich Strugatsky was born in 1933 in Leningrad. In 1955, after graduating from the Mathematical and Mechanical Faculty of Leningrad State University, he received a diploma in a rare specialty “star astronomer”. After that, he worked at the Pulkovo Observatory and participated in an astroclimatic expedition that took place in the Caucasus. Since 2002, Boris Strugatsky has been working in the journal “Noon. XXI Century”, dedicated to literary fiction, holding the post of editor-in-chief. His wife is Adelaide Andreevna Karpyuk, with whom two sons Andrei and Victor. /
