Little is known about his difficult childhood. His parents were repressed in the 30s. Little Sergey Yakovlev grew up in one of the special orphanages, but even then his creative inclinations appeared. He loved theater and cinema, participated in amateur activities. Despite the “dark spot” in the biography associated with his parents, Sergei Yakovlev was able to enter GITIS, and in 1952 he successfully graduated.
Immediately after graduating from GITIS, Sergey Yakovlev goes to work in the drama theater at the Central House of Culture of Railway Workers. There he had to play many secondary roles and participate in mass scenes. In 1957 Sergey Sergeyevich Yakovlev went to the capital theater on Malaya Bronnaya. Shortly before that, in 1956, S. S. Yakovlev made his debut in cinema. It was the film “The Long Way”, in which he played the role of Vasily Kruglikov.
Combining active work in the theater on Malaya Bronnaya and shooting with various directors in the cinema, S. S. Yakovlev improves his acting skills. After numerous roles in the theater and shooting in 12 films, S. S. Yakovlev goes in 1966 to work in the Moscow Lenin Komsomol Theater. Constant filming in the cinema and related trips to film sets in various cities of the USSR was difficult to combine with acting in the dramatic theater. In 1971, Sergey Sergeyevich Yakovlev went to work in the All-Union Theatre-Studio of the film actor, continuing to actively shoot films. In total, during his creative life, S. S. Yakovlev starred in more than sixty Soviet and foreign films, including The Crew.
"Storm on land", "Extraordinary Commissioner" . S. S. Yakovlev died on January 1, 1996 and is buried in Moscow, at the Vagankovo cemetery. /
