Mikhail Mikhailovich Klimov was born on November 20, 1880 in St. Petersburg. He served as a clerk at the Putilov factory, played in amateur performances. In 1901 he began professional stage activity: he was an actor of the Vasileostrovsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, played in the entreprise of S.A. Trefilov in Dvinsk, worked in the Odessa Theatre. Mikhail Mikhailovich Klimov was born on November 20, 1880 in St. Petersburg. He served as a clerk at the Putilov factory, played in amateur performances. In 1901 he began professional stage activity: he was an actor of the Vasileostrovsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, played in the entreprise of S.A. Trefilov in Dvinsk, worked in the Odessa Theatre. In 1904-1909 Mikhail Klimov played in the Moscow theater F.A. Korsh, from 1909 (with breaks) worked in the Maly theater. He was an actor of bright character, with particular success performed comedic roles, sometimes softening satirical sharpness with soft humor and subtle irony. Among his best theatrical roles are Telyaev, Lynyaev, Dudkin ("Mad Money", "Wolves and Sheep", "Without Guilt" by A.N. Ostrovsky), Famusov ("Woe from Wit" by A.S. Griboyedov), Strawberry ("Inspector" by N.V. Gogol), Tolokonnikov ("Rasteryaeva Street" by G.I. Uspensky), Petrygin ("Skutarevsky" by L.Leonov). In the cinema of Mikhail Klimov glorified roles in the comedies of Yakov Protazanov. In his film The Trial of Three Million (1926), he played his first film role as the banker Ornano. On the actor's film account, a number of characterful roles are the maitre d'hotel ("The Man from the Restaurant", 1927), Volkov ("The Lame Lord", 1929), the viceroy of the temple ("The Feast of St. Jorgen", 1930), Minister La ("Puplets", 1934), Knurov ("Bespridannitsa", 1937). Mikhail Klimov died on July 9, 1942 in Tbilisi.
