The real name of Vladimir Uralsky is Popov. From 1910 to 1919, the actor worked in theaters of provincial cities of Russia. In 1914 he graduated from the MHT school, in 1926 - Tchaikovsky's studio. From 1933 to 1937 he played in the Theatre of the All-Union Central Council of the Soviet Union with A. Wild, from 1948 - in the Theatre - the studio of the film actor. He starred in such famous films as “Mother”, “Aelita”, “Striker from Torzhok”, “Feast of St. Jorgen”.
