While studying in the mid-60s at the University of Michigan, Charles “Bubba” Smith became a legend for his success on the football field. The outstanding player subsequently won the Super Bowl twice, but a knee injury eventually forced him to leave the sport in 1975. After several years as a sports agent, Smith decided to start a whole new life – and landed a TV role on Semi – Tough. Since 1983, Bubba Smith has starred on the big screen, gaining fame as Moses Hightower in the low-budget but successful Police Academy.
