When the son was fourteen, his parents decided to break up, and the father later married again, which, of course, could not leave the teenager absolutely indifferent. At the age of 16, Noah Taylor left school, left home and began to work odd jobs. At one point, a friend suggested that Noah try himself as an actor, and then he realized that the scene was his calling.
For a year, Noah Taylor performed as part of the St. Martin Youth Theatre, until he was noticed by director John Digan, who offered the promising young man a role in the film The Year My Voice Broken. The picture, released in 1987, was a great success and was nominated for an award. Four years later, Taylor again appeared in Digan's film "Flirt", and in 1996 the actor played the role of a young pianist in the film "Glitter", which brought him world fame.
Among other interesting works of the actor in the cinema – roles in such films as “The Lover” (1989), “Son of Nostardamus” (1993), “Laura Croft: Destroyer of Tombs” (2001), “Vanilla Sky” (2001), “Intimate Dictionary” (2003),
