Alexey Gennadyevich Aigi is a Russian musician, composer and violinist. Since 1994, Aigi has been the permanent head of the musical collective 4’33, the unusual name of which refers to the work of composer John Cage, who composed the play “4’33”, where the pianist does not extract a single sound from his instrument in 4 minutes and 33 seconds (usually in Western countries this time period is designated as 4’33”).
