Born in the village of Chon-Tash in the Kyrgyz SSR. Graduated from the Academy of Arts in Leningrad (1964). In 1964-1967 he was a teacher of painting and composition at the Frunze Art School. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1967).
Winner of the All-Union Film Festival in the nomination "Acting Award" for 1972.
Winner of the All-Union Film Festival in the nomination "First Awards for Acting" for 1974.
Winner of the All-Union Film Festival in the nomination "Prizes for Acting" for 1978.
