AlexeyAlexandrovich Vasilyev was born in Leningrad (St. Petersburg). In 1970, he entered the Leningrad Vaganova Choreographic School in 1/4a class Boyarchikova, but stayed there shortly after 4 months was expelled with a diagnosis made by a class lady: "Unpromising". He can be anything but an artist.”
In 1973, Dinara Asanova found him when she was looking for performers for her future film “Doesn’t Woodpecker Headache”. True, in this film Alexey did not star, but in 1974 he entered the Theater of Youth Creativity of the Leningrad Palace of Pioneers (TYUT) and a little later he was invited to shoot the film "Memory" about post-blockade Leningrad. Then there was the “Open book” about biologists where he played one of the main characters (an adult played by Yuri Bogatyrev) as a child and the sports film “Everything is decided by the moment”.
In TYUT Alexey participated in various performances as an actor and theatrical illuminator, having passed all the levels of the Tyutov hierarchy: a student of a Tutov graduate and from 1979 to 1985 - a public teacher. In 1985, he became a full-time teacher of TYUT and entered the internship in the sound shop of M. Gorky ABDT. In 1986 Alexey became the head of the radio-noise shop TYUT without stopping his Tutov acting career.
In 1995, after the birth of two twin daughters, he parted with the work of a TYUT teacher and went to earn his family bread and butter occasionally playing in TYUT in the play Romeo and Juliet as Señor Montague.
