Before becoming famous throughout the country thanks to his debut in the film “The Near Circle”, Viktor Vasilyevich Balabanov was a purely theatrical actor for a long time. He was born in Orenburg (October 21, 1952), and received his professional education in Irkutsk, where he graduated in 1978 from the course of V. Wenger (at the theater school). The first steps in big art also took place in Irkutsk: from 1969 to 1970 Balabanov worked in the amateur theater-studio "Search" at the Orenburg Pedagogical School, and then for several years he played on the stage of the Orenburg People's Theater of Young Audiences.
Fate has repeatedly challenged Viktor Balabanov. He played on the stage of the Orenburg State Regional Drama Theatre named after M. Gorky, where he played in the plays “Forget Herostat” and “Characters”.
