Among the roles of the current repertoire are Levka (“Passion for Bumbarash”), Robert (“Under the Blue Sky”), Prince Myshkin (“Idiot”), Golubkov (“Run”), Nekhlyudov (“Resurrection.Super”), Baron (“At the Bottom”), Pietro Degani (“Sublimation of Love”), Gorodulin (“Any Sage Is Enough for Simplicity”). Roles in these, as well as in archival performances (“Old Quarter”, “Psych”, “Sandman”, “Deathly Number”, “Arcadia”, “Ideal Husband”, “Provincial Anecdotes”, “Ordinary History”, “Biloxy Blues”) brought the artist deserved recognition.
Vitaly Egorov also participates in the performances of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre: “Antigone”, “The Last Victim”, “Violin and a little nervous”. In the project of the International Theatre Festival Chekhov "Three Sisters" (Declan Donnellan) Vitaly Egorov plays the role of Kulygin.
In 1997, Vitaly Egorov received the theatrical award of the TV-6 channel “The Seagull” in the nomination “Breakthrough” for the role of the Artist in the play by Andrey Zhitinkin “The Old Quarter” based on the play by Tennessee Williams.
