Tracy Marrow, known to the general public under the pseudonym Ice-T, was born on February 16, 1958. The boy lost his parents very early. When he was in third grade, his mother died and his father died four years later. He was raised by his aunt. After high school, he served four years in the army, which made him a fearless and strong guy.
Tracy always loved to sing in the style of rap and after the army decided to try to direct his career in this direction.

Tracy always loved to sing in the style of rap and after the army decided to try to direct his career in this direction.
In 1987 he released his first album, Rhyme Pays. He was greatly influenced by DJ Aladdin and Africa Islam, his loyal producer. The following year he released his second album, Rhyme Syndicate. And a year later - the third album "The Iceberg/Freedom Of Speech...Just Watch What You Say", which manifested a synthesis of different musical styles.
In 1991, the songs "New Jack Hustler" and "Body Count", included in the fourth album of the rapper "Original Gangster", come to the top of the popularity rating.
In the early nineties, Ice-T began his film career. He starred in such popular TV series as “Glory”, “Break Dancing”, “Law and Order”, “New Jack City”, “Cool Guns” and others. In parallel, he continued to write albums, leading his new band Body Count.
In 2005, Marrow married the beautiful Nicole Austin, a model advertising underwear.
In 2008, at the festival “Gathering of the Juggalos”, Marrow gave his legendary concert.
