The other day came across the continuation of the series “Daddy’s Daughters”, you probably know the first story. Dad has 5 daughters, and his mother went to an unknown destination. And the whole series is built on the comic attempts of the father to synchronize life, children and their work.
In the new series, the story repeats itself and one of the daughters abandons her husband and 4 children. A little more attention is paid to the reason.
My mother wrote in her farewell note, “I’m leaving, I don’t know when I’ll be back.” I left because I realized that this is not my life, I did not dream about it.
I think it's mega relevant. Now there are many visually prosperous families, even happy by social standards. Dad, mom, kids, cars, jobs, dogs, vacations. For a long time, the presence of all these benefits made the family successful automatically. After all, everyone dreamed about it - that everything would be, because for a long time there was nothing.
What are they dreaming about now? Many people want something: to go around the world, dance salsa on Tuesdays, open your coffee shop, go to the sea every year, bake cakes to order. And now it's really becoming important. So important that unrealization leads to the fact that a person’s eyes turn dim and he turns from a loving parent into a robot – a parent.
Back to the series - lives, so mom lives and suddenly realizes that everything is wrong and everything is wrong. And not finding a way out (I think all this has accumulated more than one year and there were attempts to change), and not receiving support from her husband (self-removed from life, children and perhaps even from his wife - leaving for work), she left family life. It's a good thing not out the window.
After discussing this situation with friends, I received opinions:
- well, she's a mother - she can't do that, just abandon the children and leave, these are her children.
Um, well, there are no babies, all independent and live happily (fed, dressed, go to clubs, etc.) - I do not see anything life-threatening.
And then an example pops up when a father, tired of a bunch of children and responsibilities to earn money, at one point goes into the sunset. And that, to my dismay, in most cases, is not considered a terrible thing. Yeah, I'm tired, so I left. And if your mother leaves, it's terrible. He can, she can't. You can not become weak, and entering the childish position, stomp with a leg and run away. Double standards.
Back to the problem. Women, mired in everyday life and children, lose themselves, men obsessed with the problem of lack of money, surrender to work and also lose themselves.
By the way, I like how my husband reacts in the series, calmly: well, my mom left, she needs to be alone, find herself. It is unclear what he has in his heart, whether he understood it, but he shows such a reaction to children. Movies, of course, but cool.
The series “Daddy’s Daughters” is a cultural code for children of two thousand years, it is inextricably linked with childhood. The first series of the series was released in 2007, when the sitcom genre became relevant in Russia, at that time they were shot a lot, but none could boast of the combination of family soulfulness and funnyness of such films, which were “Daddy’s Daughters”. It can be called the most formed from the point of view of the sitcom genre: the characters have clear roles and concepts.
The series ended in 2013, and it ended quite mediocrely: the writers, as they could squeeze the plots out of their fingers, the jokes were not funny, the soulfulness that so attracted the series disappeared. He did not even reach his logical conclusion – he broke off without ending the main storylines.
Ten years later, in 2023, the series decided to restart. Moreover, they clarified that this is not a continuation, but a separate story, but this does not help to close your eyes to the obvious disadvantages. The main storyline is again built around the departure of the mother from the family: this time Dasha runs away from Venik and her daughters. The 2013 version did not explain the departure of the mother, the audience immediately immersed in the daily life of girls and dad. In the new season, the writers decided that the plot should begin to unfold sequentially: Dasha escapes on the wedding anniversary, sending a letter in which she says that family life is not hers, she is confused and leaves. Why did it take so many years and four daughters to realize that family is not yours? Further, according to the girls, it turns out that the father left the family much earlier than the mother. You can call it a rethinking of the previous experience, this time the screenwriters decided to take the actual problem – the nominal presence of the father in the family, in which all life falls on the woman, and they were able to reveal it well within the framework of the sitcom: Venik does not know anything about his own apartment, moreover, he also knows little about his daughters. The attempt of the writers to get into the modern realities of family life is an indisputable plus. However, to touch on does not mean to reveal well, this serious and important topic was no longer returned.
So, Dasha leaves Venik and four daughters. If the audience has long been familiar with the first, then the daughters cause great interest. The main problem of the new father’s daughters, in my opinion, is that in their characters it is not so easy to see the cliche. In the conditions of the sitcom, there should be certain roles: a bison, a school queen, etc. These clichés were in the old version of the series: Masha is a beauty and a coquette, Dasha is a joker and an informal, Zhenya is an athlete and a kid, Galina Sergeevna is an excellent student and a brain, Button is a baby, acting as a resonator in many series. This typification was observed not only in the characters, but also in the clothes of the characters, in their hobbies and much more. In the case of Galina Sergeevna, the cliché is maintained to the last – even adults call her exclusively by name and patronymic. These types of sisters and allowed to create comic situations, emphasized their dissimilarity to each other, from that even stronger felt their cohesion at the right moments. In the new version, the characters are ambiguous. Sonya, Diana, Lisa and Arina do not indicate the type. If there are brightly speaking features, then they cause questions, for example, Diana’s unhealthy obsession with money, Lisa is smart, but not so funny that it was funny, Sonya is beautiful and flirty, but these are not her main characteristics, as it was with Masha. There is a feeling that the writers in attempts to actualize pressing topics through the characters of the girls played, which is why the light comedy series ceased to be such. Characters have become more complicated, and Lisa’s passion for ecology, Diana business in most cases only complicate, without adding any humor.
The reverse situation occurred with the “old” father’s daughters in the series: Elizabeth Arzamasova – Galina Sergeevna, and Miroslava Karpovich – Masha returned to full roles. In their case, the writers decided not just to leave their types, but to strengthen them to the absurd, which is especially noticeable against the background of ambiguous characters of others. Mary was not just left a flirtatious, but made her stupid and completely unintelligible. In addition, her childhood naivety and breeziness, which were in adolescence, turned into manipulation of her boyfriends, whom she changes like gloves. Everyone completely forgot that at the end of the old version of the series, Masha dreamed more than all the sisters of great love and family happiness that eluded her, in the new version she was again returned to her version from the first series - a stupid girl who tries to escape to the disco. Now the limit of her dreams is a rich husband. There are times when her stupidity is cute and comical, but in most cases it causes sadness, because in the old version of Masha – the older sister who loved her family, was kind, was always ready to help. Some sadness is associated with the character of Galina Sergeevna, in the old series, her line is cut off on an offer from the Austrian prince, with whom she is in love, in the new there is not a word about it, she is lonely and devotes herself to work. Yes, the audience was warned that this is not a sequel to the old series, but to ignore the denouement of such an important moment as the love line with the Austrian prince is strange. In the new version, Galina Sergeevna decided to return to the character of the old seasons: an intelligent and successful girl who surprises with her knowledge. She was even "returned." Polezhaykina, only now it is Boris, but the essence remained the same: a narrow-minded man with the most mundane interests - fishing and alcohol. Again the same plot: Galina Sergeevna is a successful and famous lawyer, and Boris is a loader. In the case of these characters, they really kept all the clichés and even overdid them, although this was more demanded by new daughters, Galina Sergeevna and Masha could be revealed deeper, rather than simplified to this level.
Of course, there are obvious advantages: the return of old actors to their roles – the characters of Tamara, Sergey Alekseevich, Vasily Fedotov or the “alligator” and grandmother, whose play really caused a smile.
The series was relaunched to bring back the bright part of childhood with which it was associated. But there's something that can't be repeated, not because of their incredible genius, but because that was the time and the place for Dad's Daughter. Then a wonderful cast gathered, the writers created beautiful characters and storylines. Unfortunately, this did not happen in the new “Daddy’s Daughters”.
The STS channel recently gives very successful moving pictures - then Brekotkin in beads, then a cozy grotesque series of those very '200...' two points zero. I watched the premiere in real time, waited with skepticism, but waited - interest took its toll. I was not a fan of the original, I almost never looked at it, most of all I liked only a handful of the very first series of “Mama’s Return” and series from Dasha’s acquaintance with Venik to a more or less formed love branch. But one way or another, I liked the concept, the family caused only positive feelings, until, however, it did not fit the late son and not very pleasant outwardly grown-up versions of the daughters (for example, Galya after school began to dress beautifully, but ugly glasses for some reason did not take off, and it looked weird).
The continuation is still better than the delirium of the writers in the area of the 19-20 seasons of the original, although what there is - since the birth of Sonya, a very incomprehensible mess has broken. In the new series, Dasha for some reason does not leave thoughts of useless childhood hobby, although she is not so twenty or twenty-two, and for this she abandons her family. Who else said that Masha was acting like a teenager? Here is the elder Vasnetsova just as she was true to herself, and remained - a cunning, far from stupid enterprising woman, into whom an early adult girl who did not receive family warmth should grow up. Yes, her manners look out of place, like she’s 13, but if you drop that and look at the bare facts (ownership of two beauty salons, success with quite wealthy men), then Masha will not disappoint. But Dasha did act like an idiot. I always saw in her a vein of selfishness, the endless sarcasm was a simple merit of the writers, because the girl’s mind was not different (under this condition, you can’t joke well). But not the same childish selfishness! It is impossible to evaluate the character as a real person, because all the inconsistencies of his character are the will of the writer, but I am in principle parallel, where to direct my claims - Dasha or the authors. In any case, this move is a joint.
One way or another, I do not share the general surprise: how is it in 2023/24 (and the plot is definitely from the future, because it has been a whole 14 years since the birth of Sonya) a person can not be found? Yes, maybe the sisters or father do not care about where Dasha is. They probably know something. I have two other questions: why does Dasha not keep in touch with her daughters, generous only to the New Year's gift each, and why do they all talk about her as if she died? Seriously, all these speeches “we need to come to terms and move on” give something... wrong. So they're sure they'll never see their mother again? What kind of person has she been all these 14 years if her daughters unanimously expect her to do just that? And again, I don’t know whose garden this stone is for the writers or the girls and their mother. But there is a stone.
Now to the characters. Once beautiful, indisputably the best character of the original Venik did not become worse - he is caring, but moderately strict, also cunning and calculating, when he needs to get the right thing from his daughters (here you can immediately see that a person with a mathematical mindset was like this from the appearance, and remained), externally everything is just as cute. On his charm, he takes all the series from "average" to "quite good". Although, of course, sometimes by the will of the author, the mode of forgiveness is turned on, and now it seems that the adamant Broom meekly swallows completely repulsed actions of children, for example, the pool of Diana with Lisa. Sonya evokes neutral emotions, she knows how to stand up for herself, but she fights too much against her father and is too fond of the speeches of the very “first in school in expensive clothes” who, alas, had nothing at all. It's a good thing the girl didn't lie under him at the end. Her friend Yakushev seems to be quiet to himself, but it did not do without outright meanness: in that scene behind the scenes, it is an unsightly lover boy who incites Sonya against Roma who has not yet guilty of anything. Lisa Vasilyeva with one emotion on all occasions almost does not catch, excessive attempts to prove something to someone cause slight irritation, they say, girl, calm down. Diana came out very caricatured, but Eva Smirnova was the only one of the girls who really WON PERSONAGE, and not read the text in a special tone. Seriously, respect the girl. In general, Diana is too angry, as is everyone in the family. They constantly make each other sick, do not laugh at their father - the day was wasted. According to the idea, the creed of the younger twin was supposed to be the desire to earn, but it resulted in ultra-egoism in the course of the plot. That is, it was supposed to turn out approximately “in Aunt Masha”, only not for guys, but for pocket money. It didn't work. Arina did not stand out from her sisters and is just as dirty to her neighbor. In the series with her pranks I wanted to hang the first-grader a couple of subheads. However, an abandoned girl is the worst (especially on New Year’s Eve). Oddly enough, at least some development Diana again. Only in the last two or three episodes. The concern for my father’s earnings touched me, and the character put an end to the conversation about which of the new daughters turned out to be the brightest (albeit in the negative) and prescribed. It is a pity that you will not find any more of my beloved kindest Zhenka, nor ready to do much for the sake of a simple friend Masha (let’s remember, Mashahaters, how she begged Dasha to deal with him for Venik’s sake).
Counted a lot of inappropriate self-repeats. If there can be no claims to aunts, grandfather and grandmother, to Tamara too, then the same school with the same director and teachers, the same, like, grandmother from the yard, the same Alligator, the son of the same Yakusheva with a similar name (seriously, what prevented you from inserting any Yegor Yakovlev? and does he have a father?) and, damn it, the same house, as far as I understand, frankly freeze out. However, despite all this, the series is watching, and it also hooked me with something. Looking forward to the second season, will it be better?

I scored two points out of subjectivism for my favorite Wenchik.
I understand that actors should work hard in our harsh times. But there are mornings in the end.
The broom in the first series is a fully and accurately spelled personality - cute, with its pleasant cockroaches, but which in each series has a goal, sees the way to it and that he was interesting to everyone. All the girls in the first series are not just charismatic, the roles were spelled out as harActor, the behavior patterns of each were not intersecting and that is what the viewer liked - the eternal BOMBA relationship, which was obtained through the connection of the incompatible. That’s why the first series came to the audience... And that is why it is impossible to watch all other films where the heroines of the first sitcom played alone.
The viewer was encoded, on their "daddy's" character, knew what to expect, and what he saw did not correspond to his expectation ... and the skill, let's be honest, to change the role, they clearly lacked. Plus, don’t forget the genetics that no one has canceled. Andrey Leonov was 100 percent in his place. The viewer believed that Andrei could easily fall into such a story as his father, the Great Evgeny Pavlovich Leonov got into the top ten in the '33', 'Striped Flight', 'Zigzag of Luck', 'Gentlemen...' and 'For Matches'. But! was still at the Great and the "Belarusian Station", "Don story" and "Tevye the milkman". Let’s assume that nature rested a little (just a little) on Andrey, and yes, I believe in his play of the sample of the first sitcom.
But with Venik in the second series, everything is very, very sad. What was it necessary to go through in order to turn from a motivated excellent student with a clear seal on his forehead “Future gold medal of Moscow State University” into a male sheep, capable only of reproduction, which missed everything...?? He is not a single father, who for 15 years was him and his father and mother (like Novoseltsev in the Official Romance). Next on the list... Dasha. Dasha always wandered around the cemetery and expected that she would go mad, that she would suffer and fall in love - from the category of fiction. Walking around the cemetery in the volumes in which it was shown in the first series is not a tribute to fashion, imitation of elders or youthful protest ... it is a clinic! And even then it was clear how everything should end with a good Jewish boy with Dasha - the love of evil, you will love a goat! I would still believe that Dasha kicked after the first daughter or with the onset of menopause ... but the fact that the smart intellectual for 15 years did not notice that his wife has a deck without valts, with all due respect, I DO NOT BELIEVE!
Everything else is just minor inconsistencies. . .
I have not written reviews for a long time, but the STS with its self-confidence pissed off nobility. In short: raw fake, cooked "on the knee" and served under a nostalgic sauce. Obviously, the production calculation was on trend zero and reviving interest in them ("Give me back 2007"). If you grew up in those days, you can not erase from memory “Daughters”, “Cat-dog”, “Simple truths”. But STS decided not to soar with the careful revival of the product and adaptation to new realities, but limited himself to a dear name and actors who grew up with the audience.
Script. It is hard to believe that such a weak plot was invented by a group of (!) 24 writers. Achinea begins from the first minute: Dasha gives birth to four, and then “remembers” that dreamed about not that and leaves the family. A loving mother leaves a slurred note for farewell and leaves the family chat room for more drama. We do not really explain her motives and in every possible way speculate in the course of the series this family "tradition" to run away - Dad does not scold if we defiantly cry for his mother, and the argument "Mom left because of you" - so generally a godsend. The comic absurdity of situations is replaced by absurdity: Dad loses his job, and such “conscious” and “adult” girls do not think of anything better than spending his father’s stash to buy inflatable pools in the winter. Of such Galimatya consist almost all storylines. Attempts to speculate about the first feelings, the search for oneself, other children's / adolescent topics are most pathetic and implausible. About the slightest psychological reliability we are not talking at all - lost mother, and fig with her, with whom it does not happen.
Actors. The parents of the new girls, of course, expected to repeat the success of previous “daughters” (it is even ridiculous to talk about the acting ambitions of the children themselves). At the exit, the whole game was reduced to the usual childish curve. Sadalsky was right when he said somewhere that children are inherently disgusting actors. This directorial “tightening” of purely adult receptions on children looks monstrous. And the writers help him in this: literally all daughters speak the lexicon of 40-year-old women tired of life (especially Ariana and Diana). I don’t know who this can please, except for the crazy jaggards, laying out racks in which the child repeats an overheard aphorism after an adult. From Button-2 generally frost on the skin: in it the scriptwriters “infuse” a moody teenager, a pensioner, and only occasionally a child. And don’t think that this is a one-time trick for comic effect – the characters communicate the whole series.
Adult actors are not much better. The game of Paledny, like his surname: the father, caught in not the most typical situation, behaves like an ordinary “sofa dad”: is present in the lives of children more as an observer, not a participant. He is not crushed and demotivated, on the contrary, he climbs out of his skin for two parents - he just beats children's lines and sometimes stands up for his children. Yes, in the original version, the head of the family also moved to the background, but Andrei Leonov was the same moral tuning fork that a loving parent should be, and his fatherly feelings were much more convincing. In the new version, even the talented Grishaeva has to squeeze out the character. I think the actress herself felt how implausible the mother-in-law, building a son-in-law with many children, when her own daughter ran away from him. Only Tatiana Orlova and Olga Volkova are stable as their game.
Conclusions. There are things that are unattainable, and there are things that are worth leaving behind. You can and should be proud of them, you can remember them occasionally, but you do not need to reinvent them. The viewer will always see the substitution, and with all your efforts, a good old sitcom will turn into a low-grade newcomer.
I’ve never been a fan of the original Dad’s daughters, I watched several episodes if they came across on the air, I know most of the characters, the benefit of them for so many years shooting is not so much, but I can not deny the cult of the series. It has been played so often on the air, and memes still pop up with it, that even after its completion in 2013, it still feels like it hasn’t gone away. For me, the original series was too flat, for example, the images of girls were too strictly divided into a spectacle chick, a frowning goth, an athlete boy, a stupid beauty and a cute baby. In the modern version of these images ' in the forehead & #39; decided to move away and it benefited the series. Therefore, I would like to start the review with new main characters, only four of them, one less than in the original, liked two, that is, 50%, I will start with those that I liked:
1. Polina Denisova (Sonya) is the eldest daughter, she has a long time and storyline, and she is more than all transformed and comes to something at the end of the season. She reminded me of American actress Alexandra Daddario, very similar. She does not have a specific image, she is just the eldest daughter, a teenager. The actress played very well, in general, all the young actresses play well here, and this is funny, because the older generation in the face of the same Venik, Galina, Masha, etc. plays all the same bad.
2. Vitalia Kornienko (Lisa) is a smart, eco-activist, truth-lover. Well, it's just Alyssa Milano when she was young. Her stories were the most interesting to watch.
3. Eva Smirnova (Diana) is an entrepreneur. The actress overplayed, and in general she has some not successful, outdated role of a bully.
4. Polina Ainutdinova (Arina) is the youngest daughter, she got the role of the Button, for tenderness, but unlike the Button, she was not cute enough.
The series begins with Venik sitting in front of the camera (breaking the wall between the viewer and the screen, more for some reason in the series this was not), and talks about how they lived and what happened. I didn’t really follow the last series, so I would have taken any start of the new series calmly, but even I had a lot of questions about how they removed Dasha. It's so ridiculous, the mother of 4 kids just disappears. I don’t remember how the original series served it or served it at all, like there was just a family without a mom, but then it all happens in a moment, the wedding anniversary, the cake, and the wife just disappears. And the husband does not even try to find her and the children take everything for granted. One can only guess why the writers chose such a bad option. For example, if actress Anastasia Sivaeva (Dasha) flatly refused to cooperate, you could come up with something like her death, say a year ago, the children have already left and you can live on. If there is a chance that the actress will return, you could think that she went to work, they say she was offered the position of her dreams and the whole family agreed to let her go, but she at least somehow got in touch with the family.
Here are two other actresses who played the Button and Dasha agreed to play a small cameo, inserted them of course strangely, it would be better if once, for example, in the NG at the end together, but still better than nothing. And Masha and Galina generally agreed to play full-fledged roles, but it would be better not to agree, Masha grew old but her brain did not change at all, and Galina was generally turned into an ordinary lawyer, and after all, she kind of ran a corporation in her childhood. Both are single and childless, which is also very strange. Dad's a psychologist with a mom with a hairstyle that doesn't change, it's kind of out of the question here. I like the old caste of teachers, it's just something that hasn't changed in life for years. It was nice to see one of the main memes of the series secretary Tamara, who by the way here is very prettier. Well, the new characters like neighbors, like, they fit in organically.
There are questions to the plot, the writers worked poorly, there are certainly no good moments, where I laughed, where I was happy, and where it was even sad, but here are the holes, the unreality of what is happening, for example, in one series the children stole a large amount of money from their father and everything ended as if nothing had happened. Also, there are many questions about Venik, they decided to ruin his career, and he was not particularly interested in it, his work was not at all at home, and this simply cannot be if a person is a scientist physicist. Here I directly caught echoes of Ted Lasso, perhaps the creators decided to take this move, when the main character has many problems in life, but he is not discouraged.
Summing up, if the series had not reached the top of Kinopoisk and generally it would not be shown on Kinopoisk, I would hardly watch it, tkv and specifically STS do not watch at all. Including the first series, the series dragged me so much that I watched the whole season until the end. It's an indicator. In general, I can recommend and appreciate this light home sitcom. I'm looking forward to it.
Dad's Daughter is a show I grew up on, and that factor alone already suggests my bias toward rebooting. After all, I love that old series, with the scenery of Khrushchev, pronounced archetypes of characters and a hit song by Uma Thurman. And directly referring to the generation of people who can spoil their childhood with one teaser or a photo from the set, I, yes, was skeptical of the project and even drew attention to the disadvantages in the first place.
Of course, the disadvantages include perfectly licked scenery, creating a feeling of sterility and lack of life. The contrast between the characters is not what it used to be. The action is too calm for a sitcom, I would like to live longer and more fun. The series is also built in a strange way: the characters behave in one way or another immorally, and 2 minutes before the end of the series sharply kinden and pronounce the morality of the week.
However, having slightly digested the series, the advantages became noticeable. The writers know the lore of the series well, and this is noticeable in various details. Daughters have their own characters, although this is not noticeable immediately, and their game is quite comfortable. There are funny jokes too. The potential is noticeable, and this composition can still be revealed in subsequent series.
Was it a good restart? Yeah, okay. And in this normality, the project is unique in its own way: there were hits & #39; daughters & #39; in the scenery of Khrushchevka, there were bad seasons in the village and new buildings, apparently, shot to issue a franchise. And the new daughters managed not to rush from extreme to extreme and become a relaxed series on the background.

I used to love the project 'Daddy's Daughter', it was beautifully fun and of course the sequel - when the creators want more money, it was expected. This series has a lot of questions:
Where's Dasha? So we were confronted with the fact that she was in a beauty salon and never came back, wrote a letter and no one tried to find her. Not parents. Not sisters. Not a husband. That's weird. The man seemed to fall through the ground, the same Galina Sergeevna (lawyer) had at least from the point of view of forensics to ask the question: ' What happened?', with her mother at least it was known initially - she went with a hockey player to Canada. But where is the man? Yes, we have a comedy, but if it was real life - she could be killed, could commit an act of violence, anything could happen and scored on it.
The second - girls, that's honestly from the first series, I understood why Dasha didn't stand up and left, no truth, they can't clean or cook, everything, everywhere and everywhere does the mother. That doesn't solve the problem alone. Sonya is 14 years old, but she can't cook eggs. Diana is a very strange character, she sells dresses to her mother (partly psychology is a hidden offense), then steals money from her father. By the way, Vennik is no better - he is pathetic and we see how he tries, but still, he does not know the basic tastes of girls - what a vegetarian daughter he should know. I am also annoyed by this line with Yakusheva. Seriously, he can politely say ' I still love his wife' hint at it, but no, we are actively shown how she tries to twist him. It's unpleasant. This is a spit at fans who have watched the series before and worried about the couple Dasha / Vennik. It's a drama clutter, but a bad clutter. Lisa looks like she was planted in this family. Arina is a pure reception of the writers 'cute element' - everyone looks and cares.
Old heroes. There were conflicting emotions. Leonov - he's beautiful, he's few, but he's beautiful. Grishayeva - shown by a typical mother-in-law, is also beautiful, Tamara - the feeling as if the creators deprived her of some charisma, I adore Orlova and here I was sad. The oligarch Oleshko is the same. I know the series is not about them, but they were pushed completely, although I think the fans of the original wanted to see them. It is also saddening that Alexander Samoilenko was not invited this season - Dr. Antonov, this was my favorite character since childhood. Couldn't he have been prescribed? At least for a couple of episodes ... without him it's not even close ' my childhood'.
As for the rest: cameo Zheni and Buttons - do not say, the girls pleased nostalgic viewers. More often on the screen appeared Masha (Miroslava Karpovich) and Galina (Liza Arzmasova). And the question of why the writers did not prescribe the character of Masha as a person is one thing when she was 18-20 running cheerful between the guys rushing, but here she is already over 30, was it impossible to prescribe her a good line, and not an image close to the content. Character Arzamasova - came out unnecessary cartoon.
We are waiting for the continuation and I hope the plot holes will be patched.
The first season is over, it’s time to write a full review!
So we all remember the series 'Daddy's Daughter'. At far zero, people all over Russia (and not only) gathered with families at TV screens to watch this series. Yes, he was far from perfect, but he hooked everyone with his lamp, life situations, interesting characters and his sparkling humor.
And who would have thought it was a sequel (or spinoff, not sure). To be honest, at first I had very low expectations, but in the end I liked this series a lot more than the last seasons of the original.
The plot is simple and uncomplicated: Dasha almost disappears and leaves Venica with four daughters. And soon it is discovered that Vänik did not spend any time with his children. Next, the series tells about their life and life, relationships with family and peers, everything is about as in the original series, but in a slightly different format.
What did I like so much? First of all, the actors are wonderfully selected, everything is clearly in place. Within the framework of their format (and it is more cinematic, similar to other modern TV series, rather than a sitcom from zero), they play their roles very well, without hyperbolizing and replaying, and everything happens at a moderate pace. Also regarding the caste, I would like to note separately how successfully actress Polina Denisova was picked up for the role of Sonya, outwardly she very much resembles both of her screen parents (from Venik there is at least curly hair). The rest of the new heroes are also very bright, this applies to both the other daughters of Venik, and, for example, Igor Yakushev, Sasha Vasnetsov and neighbor Bori.
Second, the appearance of old characters is very pleasing to the eye. They have not changed much in appearance or character. In the first series, I even let down a tear several times when familiar characters appeared on the screen - I loved them so much in my time. It is a pity that the appearance of some of them (for example, Zhenya and Buttons) was limited only to cameos, but there is a lot of screen time for Masha and Galina Sergeevna, and Sergey Vasnetsov now and then appears, though already in the role of grandfather.
Thirdly, there are no constant self-repeats, which have become familiar to see in various sequels of successful films. The series is very original, situations are often new. Even what already seems familiar and boring, you can discover from new angles. I, for example, liked the storylines about the strict paternal control on the part of Venik, about the mercantility of Diana, about the difficulties of Sonya in relations with guys (and for some reason I really feel sorry for Yakushev, he once looked like him), and not only.
In general, watching the first season of this series gave me pleasure, even though it is a typical modern comedy from CTC. The series has problems, but for me they are insignificant against the background of positive aspects.
I recommend the series, especially for those who liked the first 4-5 seasons of the original.
"Daddy's Daughter" we know back in 2007, as a comedy sitcom. He grew and developed with us. Favorite heroes from time to time got into comedic situations, and the heroes grew up with us. With my eyes closed, I can easily recall the entourage of the living room, where the girls gathered with the whole family, the hallway, where unexpected guests so often appeared on the doorstep, and of course the kitchen, where Dad summed up the results late in the evening. All these shots cause a warm sense of nostalgia and evoke the memory of the carefree life of girls.
The story changed today. There are no more "brand" plans, the ones that we knew were our favorite sitcom. The director and the cameraman trained more than one textbook on drama shooting and not be afraid to brag about it. There are many plans, the frames change not according to the canons of the sitcom, but as in the classic series of our time. Heroes behave more grounded, the emphasis is not on their emotions, but on the situations in which they fall, no more hyperbole. There is a flat dramaturgy, “chips” disappear.
The new “Daddy’s daughter” becomes not a continuation, but rather a dry rethinking. Modern trends of TV series are taken into account, direct advertising appears in the frame (I see this for the first time), the script is bad stories are not remembered because of simplicity and cliche. The father means he can not cook, the teenager means not successful love, the schizophrenic means he does not lie, the younger one means he loves sweets, except that the rebel is an entrepreneur, otherwise quite prosaic heroes. Throughout the season, the heroes develop weakly and slowly. Progress is noticeable only by Sophia (played by the beautiful Polina Denisova) and his father (Philippe Paledny). Neither the plot nor the acting, unfortunately, the other characters do not develop.
Having no “chips” and completely abandoning the canons, today this project goes exclusively on a fan base. It seemed uninteresting and dry, waiting for development.
On my behalf, I wish Polina Denisova success and remember that we were taught to be birds, I look forward to the next project “Sasha Against!”
Interest in the project arose on December 16 last year, when Elizaveta Arzamasova (performer of the role of Galina Sergeevna) published a photo of the script in social networks. I immediately rushed to revisit the entire 2007 original series. The original series had 20 seasons and ended abruptly in 2013. But what ended there is not even mentioned. In January, a New Year teaser was released in which there were Andrei Leonov as Sergey Vasnetsov, Miroslav Karpovich as Masha Vasnetsova, Elizaveta Arzamasova as Galina Sergeevna Vasnetsova and there was still a shadow of Dasha and everything is strange with her. In the teaser, we didn’t see her face, and the voice was cut from the original series’ 45 episodes. This teaser kind of hinted that the Vasnetsovs will still be in the spotlight, but in fact now they have receded into the background, and the main characters are now four daughters Dasha and Benjamin / Venica.
If you think that they will raise their children together, you are far mistaken. In series 1, Dasha leaves the entire Vasilyev family behind the scenes. Yes, STS essentially copied the plot plot from season 1 of the original series, where the mother of the Vasnetsovs also left them alone with their father Sergey Vasnetsov. Now reviewing the 1 series of the original, you pay attention to the fact that it was Dasha performed by Anastasia Sivaeva who first offered to run away from home. Did the creators think it all out then, or was it just a coincidence? In episode 1 of the new series we will see almost the entire Vasnetsov family. But here I have the following questions: why is Masha in his 30s and something years remained the same windy? Why Galina Sergeevna is a lawyer, didn’t she want to become a PhD? What's more, she talks like a lawyer everywhere, besides sitting in court, STC, are you serious? Daria Melnikova as Zhenya Vasnetsova appears literally for 3 seconds, and Ekaterina Starshova as Polina “Pugovka” Vasnetsova appears only at the end of the 1st series. At the same time, we see that Zhenya is still fond of sports, but what is not clear from the word at all with the Button. She's probably a student, but we weren't told that. It feels like they were picked up at the last minute.
In the next series of Vasnetsovs will appear only Masha and Galya, and Sergey Vasnetsov, Lyudmila Vasnetsova performed by Nona Grishaeva (who will be in the 2nd series to chastise Venik for the escape of Dasha, although if you remember that she committed the same act in the 2007 series, not her to talk about it), and grandmother Vasnetsovs - great-grandmother Vasilyev performed by Olga Volkova will look at several episodes. You won’t see the Zhenya and the Button anywhere except in the 1st series. Another of the returns will be some of the same teachers, Tamara performed by Tatiana Orlova, and from the 5th series Yakusheva will return, only for some reason performed by another actress. In the series of 2007, she was played by Alina Tarasova, here she is played by Julia Franz (she may be known to you for the role of Vicky Bobr from “Univer: New dormitory”, or for the role of drowned Oksana from the trilogy of films “Gogol” with Alexander Petrov), and well, Alexander Oleshko will look into the 12th series and also never again appear anywhere, or rather appear in another series and everything.
What about the new main family? Now Broom performed by Phillip Palednoy and his daughter the main characters of the series. Broom often disappears at work because of which he knows almost nothing about his daughters, and he tries to improve. His daughters do not really differ from each other, except that the oldest of them Sonya performed by Polina Denisova, who is very similar to Dasha, stands out. The rest are trying to make different interests: for example, Lisa performed by Vitaly Kornienko for ecology, Diana performed by Eva Smirnova is interested only in money, and Arina performed by Polina Ainutdinova is simply the youngest, that is, the new Button, so to speak. Half the show goes by and all those interests are forgotten.
They don't even differ in character.
Basically, the series is funny only in some episodes, in the rest it is more a kind of boring, although there are some interesting series (for example, episode 3, in which Venik struggles with the gadget addiction of daughters).
And the interest in the series remains only because of the question: can Anastasia Sivaeva in the role of Dasha sooner or later appear? The first 6 episodes play with us the same question, but everything turns out differently.
Screensaver of the series. A new version of the song by Uma2rman is also in place. It's pretty short this time.
The last 20 episodes are unexpectedly new year. Pretty nice series, which could end the series, but at the very end there is a hint of the very expected return, which is likely to happen only in season 2.
Who is this series designed for? The old audience? Here is the opinion of a fan of the original series. To a new audience? Maybe, but I think they're going to get bored about halfway through the series, too.
And the most important question that remains after watching all 20 episodes of the new series: why all this was necessary?
I wanted to write a review on the very first series, but postponed this moment until the last week. We will soon find out if Dasha will return to the family, and there is already a plus one season. Yes, what to shoot if the plot of almost every series is sucked out of the finger.
This is no longer the old sitcom with the behind-the-scenes laughter and understanding that hyperbolic characters in this genre are the norm, but an ordinary series that plays on our nostalgia for 2007. At the same time, exaggerating the qualities of the characters was a really good decision, because you understand from the first series who is in front of you and what he is proud of, then the situation is reversed. They started one thing, and in the course of the plot the characters change.
The clearest character in this case is Diana. A kid who's obsessed with money. At the same time, she absolutely does not care about others. Will someone get hurt by my actions? I'm not going to ask myself that question, because I need to benefit by any means necessary. And let others deal with the consequences. Maybe the authors meant a cute child, but the antipode came out.
Then comes her twin sister Lisa. I can't say anything. A very smooth character who often follows the lead of his machinator sister. Original A.D., animal welfare and all that. But her excellent studies are not visible (like Galina Sergeevna), she was a pet protector in only three moments, and otherwise just a good child. I like the actress, but I’ve already started to get a little bit fed up with the same type of emotions.
Arina is the button of our time. But there's not much from the Button. At first, I liked her intelligence, her spontaneity, but the writers have their own plans. Substitute, lie, say without thinking at all, despite the fact that she is already a schoolgirl and there should be at least some understanding. For moments you still see a child in her and try to close your eyes to her actions, but still...
Sonya. We have known her since the past PD. She became a grown-up girl with her bums about guys, pimples and clothes. It's also an even character that is and is. The only thing that always bothers me is the chemistry between the actors, which is transferred from some kind of scare to the characters. And that's about Venica and Sonya. Most likely, if you picked up an actress a little younger, this problem would not be.
And Venique just became his father. Everyone rides him, Dasha quit, and he spinelessly tries to drag it all, but not very successfully. With his education, he would have found a job quickly and everything would have been top-of-the-line, but he wasn't looking for anything. I don't understand the situation. And the eternal thought that the financial cushion will save everyone, but here if Dianochka does not rip her so quickly that no one will have time to fart.
The other characters are somewhere in the background, and they also have questions. Masha until season 7 was quite normal, but after her painting and haircut, her whole life changed and not for the better. That’s how she continues on this neurotic path. Galya became like a stone, even the tone in his voice changed. Mom was made a bitch, Dad didn't seem to change much. And then the drum roll... the only character in the plus is Grandma. Surprisingly, I began to like her. Finally, she does something unselfishly, at least for her great-grandchildren, because she constantly tried to throw her granddaughters for money. Zhenya and Polina are not very clear why they were for two seconds in the first series. Teachers are rarely caught in the frame, and they do not carry any direct plot.
Of all the characters, I still like the Vasilyev Borya neighbor. That's him and you can worry, and even a little for his personal life to worry. The actor is doing well.
So far, that review. I will leave it in a neutral position, because you can watch it, but only once. I will not return to this in years. But the old PD will be happy to review for a long time.
It took a lot of effort to write such unpleasant characters.
Of the positive characters in this work, only the old, beloved by all, original father’s daughters. The new girls are a quiet horror, or rather, an incredibly loud, piercing cry of pain. Every time Diana says something, you want to turn it off and start ruining everything. How could you make such an unpleasant and disgusting character? Show at least one positive characteristic. It's just impossible. None of the girls support their father, all complete egoists (zero claims to Arina and Lisa, they are the smallest and it was not difficult to prescribe them, but when it comes to teenagers who should have something more than just in their thoughts & #39; I want to play, I want to eat & #39; - everything is a fiasco. The characters are one-sided, boring, greedy and just unpleasant. Bravo actresses that played so believable that because of the rage laptop almost flew out the window.
When the original version came out, I was the same age as Galina Sergeevna, and so I went through the whole story together with the Vasnetsov family. And at 13, I didn't pay much attention to these simple images. But now, after all these years, when CTC decided to restart, I was skeptical! Since the last seasons have given up watching (it was unbearable). Why continue what you wanted to close, I thought, based on the interview Leonov. But he decided to experiment for the sake of watching the first series. You know? That's great, really! With the naked eye, you can see that we approached the series with a soul, there are of course some shortcomings that I will describe at the end of the article, but in general, the remake turned out to be good! Now, the big thing is, you know, everything in comparison, and then back in 2007. What we have is the hyper-exaggerated generation of the 90s. Each of the sisters has its own role, and very exaggerated. Sometimes it seems that this does not happen in life. Everything in the series happens like a magic wand. For example, now watching the first series of the original, you wonder, here Sergey Alekseevich just left his wife, he thinks how to find a wealthy client. And then, by chance, in the office is Oksana – the wife of the oligarch. Of course it's a movie, and that's the key to the story. But here we go back to 2023, and they give us the exact same story. Dasha left Venik, leaving 4 daughters on him. Each girl has her own personality, but it does not stick out like in the original. There's no Goths, Kid, Wunderkinds. A typical family of millions, you already believe that. Here does not fall from the sky 'Alligator' which will solve all the questions of the Broom. In the new Vasiliev family, you already believe more with a modern adult look. This shows real problems, real children. Sonya is a teenage girl experiencing the first feelings, the first acne, the first emotions. Diana is a rebellious girl who will always find something to profit from. Lisa is the exact opposite of her. Fighter for ecology, and the most obedient (in fact, the second Galina Sergeevna) But it doesn't show its genius. And Arina is a sweet little girl who seems to me to be mixed up a little bit. She is caring and cunning, and smart and kind. And they live a real life, like you and me, with real problems, a real school where real things happen. You believe in this story more than the original. And most importantly, Benjamin -- He's a typical father who's dedicated to science, he has no time to be around, he's worked all these years to make sure the girls have everything, really everything. For a researcher, they live very well. Comparing again with the original, where Sergey Alekseevich huddled in the living room on the sofa. Everyone has their own room and a lot of equipment. He may not have been able to spend much time with the girls, but in the short time since Dasha left, he has made it clear that he loves and supports these children. And even in moments where, in fact, because of Arina, he lost his job, he is not discouraged, but goes on. This is where a new story comes from!
Among the shortcomings, I can highlight some jokes on the edge, I even had my ear cut when the teacher said to Lisa: If you like a boy, you can give him a 5-second break. . .
Everyone knows this movie technique, and such ' jokes' work, but not in a children's film and not on CTC.
I will also highlight the minimum of old characters that everyone was really waiting for.
Vasnetsova, Grandma, Zhenya and of course Button, which is already a whole Button, look at how she grew up for eternity. They're hiding it from us. But in almost every series there is Masha, who has not changed in 16 years, and Galina Sergeevna, who has become even more arrogant!
To sum up, sequels are usually bad. Take an example: 'SashaTanya' 'University new dormitory' etc. But here, putting his hand on his heart, we can say that the continuation was successful. Unfortunately, as a rule, the sequels erase the original, and perhaps people watching the New Daughters have never heard of the original, and years later, probably will not understand who the Button is and why it is called that.
But we remember that we children of the 90s will not forget them.
He will return to his memories in 2007. . .
House by the Lake, Sacrifice, Midnight in Paris, Fallen Angels are all 7.8-rated movies. Who would have thought that together with them in one row will stand the new daddy’s daughter. Unbelievable but true.
Pathetic attempts of the creators of the series to play on the feeling of nostalgia lead to nothing but disappointment. There is nothing in the history that the audience of the original television series liked so much. No humor, no pitch, no acting. Vasnetsov’s girls were replaced by Vasilyev’s girls, Dasha’s mother, and Venik’s father, and the story seems clear and simple, but everything is so fake and so fake that you want to turn it off literally after the first series.
If you turn to the original, it can be noted that each girl had some kind of zest, had its own character and manner of communication. In the sequel to the series, only one of the girls (Lisa) has a character - an eco-activist, the rest - a gray mass. But each of them voices jagged text and replays. Either because of his inexperience, or because of the incompetence of the series itself as a whole, or it was just made by the wrong people.
At the beginning of each series, a problem arises, often in a rather strange way, the whole series is discussed in unnatural phrases, and at the end they give out a two-second phrase that should solve everything, but it looks ridiculous and insincere, that sometimes you want to look into the eyes of those who wrote it. The creators of the series are trying to push simple ideas “to lie is not good”, “to look at gadgets all day too”, “not all methods of education can be used” and so on through the most fake dialogues that you can think of.
What has not changed is that Masha continues to beg for money from her father for her needs. She's a grown-up girl, and her habits are the same. And it seems that her behavior should not cause questions, since in her youth she was exactly the same frivolous girl, but still causes. It's a questionable game, not a delight.
The rest of the old guard is not shown very often, sometimes even inappropriately, it seems that in this way the creators are simply trying to keep the attention of the audience of the older generation. But you can see that by and large, the actors do it more for the tick. It is logical, because from such a scenario can not make a candy. In general, there is nothing outstanding for which to look.
I don’t know what audience the creators were looking for. Five years? What were they thinking when they wrote the script? When was it filmed? Are their eyes so bad that they can’t see it’s too bad? When I watched it, I constantly caught myself thinking about summer camp syndrome. No two trips are the same. You can't step into the same river twice. Rarely did they succeed, even more rarely did they succeed. Leave these sequels alone, come up with something new.
We spit, quack and stick together with old actors.
No one, of course, did not expect from this series a deep plot, the highest level of acting or sparkling humor, but the hope for a good cheerful positive comedy was (association with the original series). However, the output received some kind of mouse fuss in the style of 'Voronins' or 'SashiTani'. If in those two series, with all their dubious and unattractive family and household concept for me, there is at least a logical integrity in each series (tiedge, development, climax, denouement), then in the new ' Daddy’s daughters' everything is mixed in a pile. As a result, it is sometimes difficult to even catch the idea, the motives of the characters are not clear, the plots are primitive. Not even primitive, but elementary. This should be shot in the school circle of film lovers, and not on a major channel under the brand name of the once insanely popular series.
But comedy can be forgiven if it really makes you laugh. Alas, this is not the case. The invited galaxy (undoubtedly talented) of old actors does not have enough screen time to entertain us, nor the opportunity (the change of genre greatly affected). As a result, 80 percent of airtime we show small, similar, uninteresting disassembly of daughters between themselves and their father, who in this series acts as a tortured nanny. Philip Paledny in this regard disappointed, his hero has nothing to do with the charming and multifaceted image of Leonov at the beginning of "Daddy's Daughters" & #39; Daughters are greatly overexposed with clever phrases and ' adults' view of the world, which causes bewilderment and drives into some dissonance, and does not achieve comic effect.
It must be admitted that the business card of the original, namely high-quality, diverse, subtle humor, was etched out of the "Daddy's Daughters" & #39; even more than 10 years ago, but in the "39"; small concentrations & #39; remained. Here is the perfect emasculation. Humor is not just a stereotyped pseudo-witty memorized phrase, but intonation, facial expressions, atmosphere, talent, in the end. Old actors could make candy out of a simple idea, uncomplicated at first glance dialogue. Just give a fragment of the dialogue between Grandma and Tamara (series 74), where the first was engaged in tutoring with the secretary:
Grandma: Let's do it right away so we don't waste time. Photosynthesis?!
Tamara: No.
Grandma: The belt of the upper limbs of a person?!
Tamara: No.
Grandma: Circle of blood circulation of animals?!
Tamara: Small or big?
Grandma: (with curiosity) Small
Tamara: (instantly) No.
Grandma: Big!
Tamara: No.
The original, live acting of the actors distinguished the classic series from what is offered to us today. Paradigm ' closer to real life' for some reason began to imply a complete reluctance of performers to try and develop, everything came down to some blind adherence to templates and minting of ornate (and sometimes not very) text. ' New Guard' evokes a feeling of boredom, associated with inexperience and inability to interest the viewer. The old one, unfortunately, shows little. In addition, as already mentioned, with ' a set of phrases' (the lexicon clearly does not correspond to age) three younger daughters overdid. I will mention only Roma (the actor’s name I don’t know) among young people – a classic image, a banal plot, but potential and desire like rays of light break through the thick of the clouds.
The problems of the series begin at the level of concept: small household stories shot to holes without an attempt or even a hint of worthwhile, fresh humor. The advantages of this approach are obvious – low production costs and undemanding to imagination and creativity. Young people and television crews just parasitize on the good name of the series created by A. Leonov, A. Samoilenko, O. Volkova, T. Orlova, N. Persyaninova, A. Dimova - brilliant comedy actors, well, and the old lineup of daughters.
Don’t sell the series under the emblem 'Daddy’s Daughters' it would easily get lost. Especially without the help of old actors, who acted as a kind of magnet to attract viewers. In the dry residue - there is no sensible plot, no sitcom drive and humor, no originality. However, this was not the case.
The return of my favorite series I was looking forward to and fearful. Suddenly, the old fairy tale in a new way will be faded and unideal despite all the efforts of the authors, because 'time is not so '?
On the one hand, the basis of the whole series - the problems of fathers and children, growing up and relationships in the family - is relevant at all times, and on the other - it does not make the new season ' self-repeat' because the era is not just a scenery, it is a plot-forming element.
We, the children of zero, revisit the original series for the most part for the sake of nostalgia: an atmosphere of calm and carefree, cell-clamshells, youth subcultures, posters of favorite artists on the walls, etc. Today’s children grow up in a completely different environment, which is reflected in new episodes.
As it turned out, a significant part of fans do not understand the basic truths of life. It began with a long-standing controversy ' Why did Dasha make ordinary, deprived of her individuality, she had to remain Gothic!' Personality she did not lose, in fairness, but it is not about that. Gentlemen, have you seen a lot of Goths at least in 2013, let alone 2023? So am I. And they did not disappear anywhere - they just grew up and began to live an ordinary life, abandoning the movement of teenagers - informals. That's what many real people do in the real world, so the writers didn't do anything criminal. It was logical.
The same goes for the notorious zero atmosphere. Those who expected it from the season, which takes place in the twenties, clearly do not understand what the meaning of cinema as such.
Many resent that, they say, new girls made ' not different enough'. On the contrary, I consider this to correspond to the new reality. The Vasnetsov sisters were in some ways archetypal, somewhat hypertrophied characters: a buckle, a kid, a glamorous fifa and a goth as a sign of time. But none of the images was ' fabulous' - then teenagers really tended to join very different hobbies and behavior patterns. ' Yeralash' was not invented from scratch.
Now, according to my observations, the introduction of all children to the incredibly developed since the Internet leads to unification: fashionable youth trends in different spheres of culture have become almost common. From here you and ' Galina Sergeevna on minimals', not disdainful titokom (sorry God), and cramped dependence on gadgets, regardless of other traits, and others ' unusual' characteristics of heroines.
The new concept of dad’s daughters is no worse or better than the old one – both correspond to their era, their generation. So, the new series has every right to exist and its bright mark in the history of television.
As for caste, the choice of new actresses was very happy - the girls cope perfectly with the roles. I am happy to see all the heroes of childhood - especially Andrei Leonov, whose good charm seems to penetrate the screen and warm the soul.
It is a shame only for Masha - this is not the case when the character should not pass any arches between the two parts. I hope she finally matures and finds love.
Whether a remake, or a sequel, or a comedy, or a drama (opinion based on 6 episodes)
At the time, I loved the original very much, still causes warm nostalgic feelings, although I understand that it was a simple sitcom, but with a soul, ' bulbous' at least the first half of its existence.
What did you do with 'rebutt/remake/continue'.
The series is difficult to call a sitcom, there is very little humor, the characters sometimes try to joke, but this does not always cause a smile (a big plus that they removed the behind-the-scenes laughter, for the disappearance of this atavism of the genre, thank you). There was some indistinct ' seriousness', an attempt at family drama, but emasculated.
Plot
The plot is some kind of weak repetition of the original, while causing a lot of questions, due to the lack of logic, interesting moments, just the lack of details.
In the original, the main character is faced with the fact that his wife abandons him and he becomes a single father, which is a heavy blow for him. He has to feed a large family, having an unstable job as a psychotherapist and at the same time, as if fulfilling the role of both father and mother for 5 daughters, and in the next apartment lives a mother-in-law with a heavy character who does not love him. At the beginning of the series, the whole comedy was built on it. His wife went abroad with her lover.
In the new series, history repeats itself, but this time his daughter abandons her husband and 4 daughters, leaving a note with a vague message that: 'family life is not for me, this is not what I dreamed about, yet, I love', this behavior for the character is strange and unjustified. Normal people will probably turn to the police with a statement about a missing person, but ... the family does not care, they do not have any emotions ... They just move on as if nothing had happened, with little or no mention of their mother/sister/daughter. The new father is unclear where he works, at the beginning ' work in the laboratory' he takes 12 hours a day, but after the 1 episode he spends all the time at home with his daughters, financial problems are not observed. Accordingly, the whole story revolves only around the daughters and their problems.
Heroes
Actors, especially children, play surprisingly well. Also, old fans each series please old friends, on the spot everything: teachers, secretary, sisters, grandmothers, nostalgia are exploited to the fullest, but still they are secondary characters, but the main ones are daughters, and with them everything is not so clear.
In the original, each daughter had a characteristic feature (informal, fashionista, schizophrenia, athlete, baby button), which made the characters quite one-dimensional, but everything was very funny revealed in their interaction with each other and the surrounding world.
The new series has four daughters. The eldest is an ordinary teenager, the youngest is a button No. 2, medium twins (which I learned only from the description of the series) have characteristic features: an eco-activist and an entrepreneur. Interactions, conflicts, 'chemistry' between them there is practically no, everyone has their own affairs, interests and they do not overlap.
It’s also unpleasant how self-centered they’ve been made to be, and often they’re not bothered by anything other than their material security and comfort, such as pretending to be sad about their mother’s departure to have their father wash the dishes for them. . .
I hope that the series will become better, announced already 2 seasons of 20 episodes. In the meantime, whether it is a continuation or a remake.
Many people did not even suspect what awaits viewers in anticipation of the continuation of the legendary good-natured series, on which many zero children grew up. Someone thought that the departure of Dasha is nonsense and in fact everything is wrong, because the writers can not repeat the course of the script, which was already played a few years ago. But no, we were wrong. . . .
What is this, lack of imagination? Creative for the story? The right heroes? Lack of energy and competence of the film crew?
Most likely, squeezed out of the entire series to the maximum, so that some sculpt from it the continuation. It's like scraps from a banquet, the most important thing is to grab something.
It was possible to finish how the Vasnetsovs safely moved to a luxurious house with the whole family and everything is fine, but you need to spoil everything and make an already licked scenario from the old seasons?
Well, let's move on to the logical part and the absurdity of the plot of the series.
1. Dasha, who after daughter Sonya decided to give birth to another 3 children for 15 years of marriage, sharply thinks over and abandons the family only because the role of the mother is not hers. And did she have a choice to have three more if you weren't ready, or did Vänik engage in reproductive abuse to make her think that way? Was the birth at gunpoint? Does it make sense to plan a family several times if your mother isn't yours? That doesn’t happen, mother, for life and that’s your calling.
With a psychotherapist father, couldn’t she have worked through the problems of marriage with her husband, not immediately cut off the children as soon as her mother ran away? Would a child who had been abandoned by a mother and felt all the hardships and hardships of the absence of a mother do this to his own children? It's probably not the sadistic fruit of writers.
Is there any explanation for Dasha’s behavior? No, since Lyudmila Sergeevna has it - a physical head injury, and Dasha is all right, only now she decided to take revenge on her own children for her childhood, but what is their fault? I don't understand.
2. The ugly and disgusting behavior of Dasha’s mother Lyudmila Sergeevna
To spoil and turn the character of Dasha's mother and the girls' grandmother on the opposite? Make her a negative hero? We can, we can, we can practice.
Only in the series “Daddy’s Daughter New” we can observe in all its glory how the character of the main character has changed dramatically, from a guilty and calm mother of daughters to a first-class bitch-hammer who loves only her long-awaited son, about him a little later.
Why so much humiliation, sarcasticness and insults to Venik? Why such aggression on the husband of the daughter, who for a moment NEVER blames that the wife abandoned the children? Yes, maybe he paid little attention, but throw everyone and all the blame exclusively on the mother.
And notice, the negativity comes precisely from the heroine who also abandoned her children. It’s a shame, you can’t say otherwise.
3. Mamkin son Sasha Vasnetsov
As we have seen in recent seasons, the Vasnetsovs finally managed to give birth to a son in old age. By the way, this is not so important, the most interesting thing is how the only son was raised, because in the series we see that he is not observed at all.
Apparently, the Vasnetsovs 6 times were in such wild euphoria that finally a boy was born that they decided to kiss him, sorry, at the fifth point and please in everything, but not to educate, as long as the child was happy.
Unpleasant and neglected character, the same age as Sonya and the uncle of the girls, who can be said to despise his relatives and in every way gnaws, just to bring emotions. Almost what happens not at his will and against him - whines like a snot and transforms into a mother's son, Lyudmila Sergeevna indulges his whims and even opposes her granddaughters.
It really hurt the moment when he remembered his daughter Dasha Sonja about the case of her mother leaving while solving a problem at the board. Cruel, low and mean, but once in the series the family was close and strong, what now? Cold, indifference, indifference.
4. This is not a situational comedy, but a drama, with a very weak plot.
What can we see from Episode 3? Sadness, resentment, aggression, hatred, endless conflicts. There are no funny situations, from which girls and the whole family got out, humor, smiles, relationships. There are only quarrels, conflicts, negativity. Writers, we have already realized, are not able to recreate the atmosphere of the good old series.
5. They ruined the main characters, not only the mother of dad’s daughters.
Haven't the girls had children of their own in 15 years? This is very strange.
If we see that Galina Sergeevna is a successful judge and a tougher character, what about Masha and Zhenya? The button is obviously a student, there is no demand for it.
There is no clearing up of their lives.
Mary is a different story. The most traumatized and unhappy character with an unsuccessful personal life. Surely the audience expected that she will finally have a family, at least a stable relationship, she will become more serious and more mature, but no. Still, unchanged, an older teenager looks miserable. Screenwriters and here wised that they did not even bother to provide a good storyline and life Masha, but she is already 35-36 years old.
Do the daughters of Dasha and as the main characters of the series please? Probably not.
Perhaps the role and play of Arisha is good, but the Button is like walking to China, there is not enough charisma and enthusiasm.
Sonya dilutes the series a bit and gives a breath of air like a photocopy of Dasha. Here the film crew tried and found the girl most similar to Dasha, but again, the heroine in real life is 19 years old, and plays a 13-year-old, seriously?
Diana is a hellish mixture of irritation and bewilderment that there are such brazen and cunning children. As an actress, she may have coped with her role, but the audience is very unpleasant, at least to me. This is not Dasha’s antics in his youth, this is some kind of lack of education and attention, which is why impudence, pettiness and mercantility are formed.
There is nothing to say about Lisa, Vita Kornienko is shoved wherever possible and she is everywhere like Alexander Petrov, but the girl does not cause negativity, this is a plus.
“Daddy’s daughter New” finally spoiled the happy ending of the favorite series by the work of bad writers, only worse. This is not the show we grew up on. This is something different and very unfortunate, alien, incomprehensible, without logic, the quality of the plot. Even old characters do not harbor those pleasant feelings when watching, as it was before. Disappointed.
All in all, good, new atmosphere, actors. I really liked the character of Sonya, as Dasha is clearly missing. It's a good project from the start and ss, but!!! I read a lot that this is a sequel in order to return to my father’s daughters with my children ... when I watched in 2010-2013 I was 10-11 years old, of course I watched them much later and at 15 and 17. Now I’m 21 and I’d love to go back to characters that are 12 to 16 and grow up again. But this time, the characters are very young. Many people who have seen their daughters have no children and will not have them for a long time. And those who do, in most cases, they are small enough to perceive a plot designed for 8-12 years. Children's problems, quarrels, will be very irrelevant and far from a huge number of people. I hope they'll focus on something adult-teenage issues. Otherwise, the huge audience of fans of this series will not find anything relevant for themselves. The old caste was ideal, you grew up first with Zhenya and Galina Sergeevna, then returned to the beginning and grew up with Masha and Dasha, the actors then grew up with you. Also, the plot was diluted in large numbers and adult problems and characters. And now, after a couple of episodes, I only see a very baby vibe. The first daughter of my father started with Masha, who already changed guys. I think part of that was success, a big age spread where everyone could find themselves. Now the threshold is Sonya, who looks and behaves 14. I hope they grow up in the new season.
I included the first series of new "daddy daughters" and got into childhood. I assure you, you will, too. It's a very good start. The creators tried their best when choosing small actresses, it can be seen. To my surprise, nothing annoyed me (and I am not a fan of any sequels). I really liked how we gradually introduced characters that we have known for many years, but the last time we “saw” ten years ago.
To tears it was nice to hear all the same motifs of the soundtrack, but what is it? Even the template with the credits, the creators decided to do as before, in zero, which for me is undoubtedly a tribute. When Andrey Leonov appeared in the frame, it became clear: I missed him. It's something beautiful when you grow up with a sitcom for many years, spend evenings and days with it, being still perfectly green, and then 10 years pass, and now - the girls grow up, become women, baby swelling has already replaced wrinkles, behind everyone's back - so much has passed, but eyes! The eyes are still the same. In their own way. I am not only talking about the first generation of abandoned daughters, but also about the adored Leonov. Old school, genes, talent – all this catches the eye from the first seconds. Even his smile radiates some special magic.
But I will note one thing: after all, the difference between those very schools of acting is certainly noticeable, because if I believe in the game of N. Grishaeva and A. Leonov, then M. Karpovich for her role became too expressive, as if the actress confused the theater with the cinema and performed on the big stage, not on camera.
After reading the reviews of many, I was surprised by the negative, but here's my opinion: innovation is OK. If you compare the remakes of such films as, for example, “Caucasian prisoner”, I do not understand this. When the creators and the team do not change, and the story continues, I can only happily praise this revival and nostalgically brush off the tears.
In my opinion, it is worth seeing at least because in the new season you can still see the echoes of those same Dad’s Daughters.
'Life sometimes lets out a sting', and STS new 'Daughters'
From the very first notes of Uma2rman, the smile spreads to the ears.
I loved the first part, did not miss a single episode on TV.
It was so interesting, direct, easy, and the girls were so fundamentally different, bright and wanted to get to know them better.
The last few seasons have been lost to me.
Apparently, because the script was divided into several branches and it was already difficult to catch all the nuances.
The best thing for me in both parts is that all the stories are very relevant.
Remember, back then we were Goths and emos, quarreling with our parents, they took away our folding phones with stickers and rhinestones, and we did not even know about the electronic diary. And September was burning. . .
In the new story, everything is different, because both children and parents are different: more progressive, keeping up with the times, who are forced to face new problems in the form of dependence on gadgets, new school rules or the popularity of Tik-Tok videos.
But the main theme is as old as the world 'Fathers and children'
I fell in love with all the girls, but especially with the heroine of Eva Smirnova - Diana.
But now children are really so smart, smart, enterprising and boldly express themselves. Isn't that great?
Such cool and easy to perceive by all ages humor, so dynamically changing picture.
I'm happy to have left Tamara - I think it's not the same without her. My favorite character as an adult. Vital.
And, of course, Venique. Dad.
In addition to turning from a curly romantic student into a handsome adult, he is now also the main character.
The collective image of a dad who is very trying to be better for his children, take care of them, give way to life and at the same time remember who is vegetarian and who is on a diet.
New daughters for me is an opportunity to discover something new in pleasant memories of the past. It's a good story. If you need action and special effects, you are not here.
And, probably, that is why I am not looking for hidden meanings and tricks here, but just high from watching.
I laughed, touched, froze and melted because it was so warm and charming to me. There is no playfulness and tension - everything is very simple, easy and easy. Like they've always been here.
Anyone surprised that another remake sequel created just to try to cash in on your nostalgia of love for the original was a gray mediocrity?
If the original series is sometimes hypertrophied household comedy. The new daughters seem to be trying to play more on the dramedy field with a clear bias in the latter. Hence the main problem - general grayness and dullness.
You remember the original series as a cabbage of different characters with vivid images, whose unique interactions made, if not laugh, then bring a kind smile. The new series introduces you to new heroines - the girl number two girl number three and the fourth, which is like Sonya, also has nothing interesting, except that the actress was picked up similar to Dasha.
They tried to give them some unique features, one type for ecology, etc. But you will not remember them.
The original series was helped by the fact that although many actors could not play characters naturally due to lack of experience because they were children, but the genre and direction allowed them to replay. The local girls were absorbed by the general atmosphere of despondency and you see no more than actresses trying to recite the jagged text.
Old actors certainly play better, but everyone’s face reads that they understand that nothing good will come of this and came to suspect.
I don’t have duckling syndrome, I’ve watched old daughters, and the first seasons (before the departure of Masha Dasha Gali and Venik to new apartments) are still good. Think about it better, and do not waste time on this despondency.
For fifteen years I did not remember that there is such a television project called Dad's daughter. Of course, I have not forgotten the mad literature teacher, the secretary, for whom the meaning of life is in the holidays and, of course, the eternal question of the relationship between fathers and children. Little has changed over the years. The secretary still fools her boss, the mad teacher is still as simple-minded and fanatical, and the father of many children raises his children, as he can, sometimes even applies severe disciplinary punishments for modern children. But there's nothing left of the comedy. Everything looks secondary. It’s like comparing the eralash of the 70s and 80s with the modern editions of this humorous show.
The series is designed for children aged 8-13, but they are unlikely to laugh at the sight of a cowardly guy bullied by girls. And they were also hardly impressed by the fun walk with the dog Lisa. Heroes of the past appear only for nostalgia. Their appearances are predictable, but their disappearances are unpredictable, as, for example, the arrival of Nona Grishayeva with her bolt and an equally rapid disappearance. In our time, even a child will feel the falseness of all these family dances and another family gathering in an incomplete composition. Children, take up the books, and you will finally break away from your gadgets! It would seem that the best message of the creators to the small audience is fair, but it is played out so falsely that it causes only bewilderment. I'll probably have a couple more episodes. I really liked Sonya with her smartphone addiction. She's the babysitter. I would have taken her hand and said, Take my smartphone, but be mine.
