Nina Konstantinovna Maslova was born in Riga, the capital of Latvia, on November 27, 1946. After graduation, she entered the Institute of Hydromelioration, but quickly lost interest in this study, from 1965 to 1967 she attended the Moscow Art Theater School-Studio. The young actress was noticed by the directors and began to be invited to act in films. She entered VGIK in the workshop of S. Gerasimov and T. Makarova and in 1971 successfully graduated from the Institute. Upon graduation, the place of her permanent work was the theater-studio of the film actor.
Nina Maslova made her film debut in 1969 in the film Accused of Murder. The script is based on real events: the murder in Moscow in the Arbat lane by several hooligans of a young man, a high school student Sasha Ponomarev. Maslova played one of the secondary roles there - the girl Elyu. In 1973, in the film “Comrade Brigade”, Nina already had the main role.
In the 70s, Nina Konstantinovna Maslova was very popular. Spectacular, charming, feminine, she was remembered by the audience for the films “Afonya”, where she played the “dream” of the main character, and “Big Change” in the role of Victoria Korovyanskaya. Then, as a rule, she was invited to secondary episodic roles. What only cost her inimitable queen Marfa Vasilyevna in the comedy “Ivan Vasilyevich changes his profession.”
In 1975, the musical comedy “Smile, the same age” was released. This was a joint work of Mosfilm with German filmmakers, and it was not an event in the film world. But for Nina Maslova, this role became a favorite. She plays there at once two girls, similar to each other, like two drops of water, with the same names - two Mash. All the songs in this picture, the actress sang in her voice. Then even came out one record with the songs of Nina Maslova on the poems of Leonid Derbenev.
The actress is also remembered for the paintings.
"By the Lake" "Beauty Salon", "Hourglass", "Two Arrows", "Homemade Truth".
Nina left the theater many years ago and still does not participate in performances, she was always more interested in cinema. She was and will remain what is called a supporting actress, but recognizable and loved by the audience.
