After graduating from high school, the young man decided to go to Moscow and enter VGIK, but he could not pass the entrance exams. The future actor did not want to go back home and went to study at the School of Circus and Pop Art. At that time, he already had a noticeable talent and colorful appearance.
Pretty soon, the actor’s play was noticed by the specialists of the Mosfilm studio, and in 1967 he was offered to play the role of a White Guard officer in the film The Ballad of the Commissar. Talgat Nigmatulin perfectly got used to the role of a scoundrel in lacquered gloves, after which he began to be invited exclusively to the role of villains.
In 1971, he graduated from VGIK, enrolling there for the second time, and began to work in Tashkent at the Uzbekfilm film studio, while studying at the Higher Directorial Courses. Then came the film with his participation: “Meetings and partings”, “Seventh bullet”, “The Tale of Siyavush”.
Almost all his free time he devoted to literary work, some of Talgat’s stories were published in Tashkent.
In the early 70s, the actor was already a master of sports in judo. In connection with these classes, he met Yesen Ismailov, a master of gun-fu, after which he studied at the Tiger-Dragon school, and then demonstrated in paintings the techniques learned.
While working in Tashkent, the actor met singer Larisa Kandalova, they quickly married and soon they had a daughter, who was named Ursula.
After a while, the actor was invited to shoot a Soviet fighter

Then Talgat appeared in the films “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”, “Provincial Novel”, “Wolf Pit”.
In 1985, the actor tragically died. At the moment in his hometown of Talgat there is a street named in his honor.
