Boris Godunov came to the Czarist throne at the end of the 16th century, after the original heir to Ivan the Terrible had died. At first, things went well for Godunov (played by Bondarchuk), but when the Russian people began to believe he had killed Ivan the Terrible's son in order to gain the throne, an alliance sprang up against the new Czar. Events continued to spin out of control as a young monk was presented as the son Godunov had supposedly killed. Now he was openly accused of failing an assassination attempt, which seems to be even worse than succeeding. In addition to these woes, Boris Godunov began to suffer serious health problems. So much for the joys of kingship. close

The film takes place in the last days of the Great Patriotic War. After the Munich Agreement, which gave Czechoslovakia to Hitler, the Czech Jan Treibal, along with other patriots, left his homeland. Once in the Soviet Union, the hero becomes the commander of the First Czechoslovak Air Division. Together with him, the cheerless lieutenant Martin Gabriel, uncompromising lieutenant Alexander Lezhnev and the young pilot Tomek Yandak, full of romantic ideas about life, are fighting. close

And this time the sprints with their unusual liveliness and great curiosity create turmoil, first in the village where the children visit their grandfather, and then in Prague Campa, where the Golanov family lives. Their further adventures involve two problems. The first is the imminent divorce of the Golanovs, and the second is the desire of Professor Gheorghe and his team to find the missing material to turn it into a cheap source of electricity. close
