Marina Levtova was born on April 27, 1959 in the Megino-Kangalassky district of the Yakut ASSR, where her parents-doctors were distributed after studying at the 1st Medical Institute of Leningrad.

After graduating from school, Marina enters VGIK. As a student, she starred in the comedy “My Anfisa”, as well as in the films “Choice”, “On the eve of the premiere”, “Last chance”.
When Marina Levtova was in her second year, Sergey Gerasimov offered her the role of Antonida Buinosova in the film from the dilogy “Peter’s Youth” based on A. Tolstoy’s novel “Peter the First” – “In the beginning of glorious deeds”. On the set, Marina met actor Yuri Moroz, who later became her husband.
